Is it possible to implement a successfull tactic with just support duty players?

For certain amount of time I'm trying to create a tactic that works as a shutter against AI with lots of support duty players and lots of passing, downside of this adventure this kind of tactics have lesser amount of goals produced and usually point totals are just abysmal.

It just doesn't work with

SK (sup)

IWB (sup) 2CDs or 2BPDs - IWB (sup)

Regista or RPM

2CM (sup) or 1 BBM (sup) + 1 RPM (sup)

2IW (sup)

F9 (sup) or PF (sup) or TF (sup)

Why even bother about having defenders? Go all the way with wide defenders on support and a libero!

Never think about using liberos but would love to try.

Actually I was trying to use a similar 4-1-5 Just for Fun style like you used it before 4-1DM-5 Midfielders but I'm not sure how that would work that way. Sure it is compact as hell and create lots of shorter passing options but can it also be used as a shutter or time waster after you got the lead or in two legged tournaments etc.

Edit1: So far It looks like this with new WCB and Libero
