Hello everybody :)

In this thread i shall be uploading tactics that i have had success with and hope to help others with the success they give me.

Here is the first tactic i have created which utilises a roaming playmaker, segundo volante and a central midfielder. My first thoughts on using a roaming playmaker in the DM slot was that maybe it would leave me too exposed in the central area once the CM and SV have pushed up but i actually found that it performed quite well. Having a player in this slot with PPMs such as "Stays back at all times", "Comes deep to get ball" seems to help the player pick up some good positions whilst not venturing too far forward. if you do seem to have some diffuclty yourself with this position, switching to a DM could help you in some cases but i tend to leave it as a roaming playmaker.

The term infusion has been chosen because i have found that with most teams i have used to test, i have been towards the top end with possession usually around 55% whilst still bieng at the top or in the top 2 of "Most shots"and "Most dribbles" so it is sort of balanced between possesion and attacking simultaneously.

Here i have attached some screenshots of various tests and i am in no way claiming that this will work with every team but i did have a very strange turn out when i used Fulham who had just been promoted.

(upon writing this i have noticed that some of my screenshots are not showing up in my folder in which is regarding fulham, somehow i mamaged to win the league in the first season with only a plus 30 GD which reminded me of the Leicester season as everbody seemed to be taking points of the usual top 6 leaving me a gap to somehow sneak in and win . I will search to try find these images but if not i shall run more tests to see if i can achive this with them again,

Screens below usuing the typcal top teams.......

For the Bayern test i used a database editor which allowed me to start the season in 2022 hence why the end of season is 2023. the best goals per game and the lowest conceded per game is a balance i dont usually seem to achive in the past as usually once you score soo many, it comes with some defensive risk of conceding but not which this tactic. I know most tactics with do well with Bayern and Liverpool but i wanted to show what the tactic can achieve once you have a top team first.

I have achived a few second places with everton, sassoulo, valencia, west ham, leicester, leverkusern the suprising fulham league win but unfortunately i cannot locate the screenshots, therefore i am going to be running a few more big tests with multiple teams including middle table teams aswell to generate some more screenshots.

I just wanted to get the tactic uploaded and posted for people to try for themselves as i know it can be improved. also, i dont have the time at the moment to do full playthroughs due to work commitments therefore all tests are holidayed so the results can be far better once controlled by yourself.

Once i have ran the next few tests i shall update this thread with the results :)

UPDATE: Ran 15 team test and will post the tables here before going into detail later...

Suprisingly the only team that didnt really perform was Everton who seemed to struggle this time around but some great results will go into detail later.

Teams used:

Westham-Wolves-Everton
Barcelona-Espanyol-Valencia
Roma-Atalanta-Sassoulo
Bayern-Wolfsburg-Leverkusern
PSG-Nice-Strasbourg

Hey fantastic write-up of your tactic, it deservers some testing for that alone! Nice results too.

Could you tell us which player played where for Liverpool for example, was Salah an IF or the AF? Or post a screenshot in the OP of the Bayern and Livepool teams on the tactics page with each position picked?

Ps All set pieces look great!! Your throw ins are what ive been tring, but failing, to make.

Thanks mate I appreciate the kind words 👍 🙏

For the Liverpool save I had Salah as the right-sided inside forward and had either Nunez or Firmino up-top. Even still with salah on the right side he tends to score the most goals in the team typically ahead of the striker too 😂👍

Its a good tactic for sure. Won the bundesliga in 2041 with a young mid-table team, Bayern and RBL are still some way better atm. Had a wobble around xmas/new year due to injuries and me not paying attention at the end of two crucial games.

Unfortunately I created a monster at my previous club and they literally have the world's best XI and we lost to them in the semi's of the champions league. Both games were a struggle and away we lost 5-2. But its a young team, still a long way to go for most players to max their ability, and my old club really does have the best team you could and some newgens are messi/ronaldo standard.

I found in some games when struggling switching to cautious helped, when away to sides much better than us.

Overall its really good. Would be interesting to run a few seasons with a mid-table team from the start of the game, to see if they can win the champions league. This always seems the hardest to me. Can win most leagues within 2-3 seasons, Italy in one often, but the champions league is often hard. It is amazing how many games the other team has under 5-7 shots in total and 1-3 on target.

The set pieces are fantastic. Its worth saving those and putting into other tactics imo. Great job.

Ps - I've changed some PI's as I thought my players were too selfish or blind or not very smart, or all three up front! These changes and using cautious in difficult games is working very well so far for me. Still very tight at the back

CM is now Take more risks, dribble more, shoot less often and move into channels

Both IF's Shoot less often, sit narrower and tackle harder

SC is Take more risks, dribble more, tackle harder and mark tighter. Still not happy with this, will tinker more possibly with these.

I find I score a lot more tap ins and well worked goals. My players were not squaring or cutting the ball back in the box.

Would love you to post the squad view for both Liverpool and Bayern for the end of season. Wanna see the top performers and the Volante on Attack specifically. Seems like he is getting a lot of joy on this tactic.

Hello mate, I shall try and get some screenshots for you but I think I have deleted that test game haha, I had Goretzka and Fabinho as the volantes and they got about 15 goals on average and chipping in with double figure assists too 😊

Care to tell us the 'better' tactics?

100% there is always going to be better tactics all the time mate, I just enjoyed the results I got with this one so thought I'd share it and had quite a lot of people say it's done well, but hey-ho it's not going to work 100% for everyone like pretty much all tactics out there 😊

@Lampochka97 stop being a nob and offer constructive feedback on the tactics you are testing instead of just saying bad. I mean this tactic finished 2nd with Chelsea in what seems an elite testing league and yet you state there are better tactics. How about saying "nice going, did well in my test league"

I find it constructive, straight to the point, no beating around the bush so we know not to touch the tactic.

So you find someone saying "bad" as constructive??

Not just 'bad' he will also say if the tactic is 'very very very bad' with a test table showing how bad it is.

So yes I don't need an essay explaining why some tactic is bad, plenty of tactics out which look good on paper then we test them and then we find out the hard way how bad they are

@Lampochka97  Where is the Goal_Machine El Chapo tweak tactic? Can you put a link to the tactic thread? And maybe some results? Thanks

I didn't say he needed to provide an essay did I? For all we know his testing league could be biased. But by stating "bad" without any further feedback is pretty turd in my opinion.

He may as well not share the results, what's the point in replying if he isn't going to be constructive about it?

I know the tactic link is in there. I was asking about the tactic thread. Like where is the discussion about this tactic. In the drive link, there are only the download links
