what do you reckon is the right type of player for the BWM? Is physicality and tackling key, just a destroyer/disrupter, or could i use someone with a bit more finesse seeing we want to control the game? and also have you tried with a different role? could a DLP or Halfbeck work well? Like a Bousqete/Rodri/Carrick/Brozovic type player.

from what i've seen so far in-game from the bwm you rather want him to "win the ball back" but i've seen they do alot of assist as well and sometimes some goals... it worked great with Pellegrini or Udinese players (don't remind their names atm) really good with Tomáš Souček.

I would follow keylights and the rest is just a plus that you might like.

The OIs that @Delicious suggest using - https://fm-arena.com/find-comment/20729/

The test result of the OIs - https://fm-arena.com/thread/4534-424-extreme-volts-iv-opposition-instructions/

As you can see the test result of the OIs isn't great and @Delicious himself says that he isn't 100% sure about the OIs because he's still testing them and trying things...

And of course it's the classic 433 that got hit the hardest by the patch

I'm gutted too I love 433 but yea it got hit hardest it seems because it's way harder to play through balls to feed your lone center striker

Poor lone striker

Honestly mine is still scoring, probably same or even more than before. Capitalising on every mistake the defenders make.

The type of goals he scores have changed, more low to midheight crosses that end with a successful shot on target, more scrappy balls inside the area that he can pounce on, deflections etc.

CMs tend to get in better positions now and are more effective. Their build up play also looks better.

Overall still an exciting as effective tactic to use, but I would like it a bit closer to some other formations. Perhaps with some tweaks it can get there.

Need to translate that patch first to be honest.

Can I designate a corner kick kicker as a good player regardless of his position? Then, does the foot that I usually use matter? And is it normal to have a lot of offside goals? Is it a player problem?

I guess in this corner setup any position expect the central defenders can be set as the corner taker. I don't think the foot makes any difference.
