In my latest save I haven't had a single 0-0, home or away, before the latest update and Im in 2034. Since the update I've had five 0-0's, all away, in the EPL versus top teams, mid table and a team down the bottom.
Anyone else had this? We average almost four goals a game overall and over two away each game for the last few seasons.
No offence, but to take this into consideration seriously you need to back it up with statistic which is no less than 10 season length, I mean you need to compare 10 seasons before the update and 10 season after the update. Anything less than that can't be taken into consideration seriously.
The game RNG is huge, for example, you might not lose a single match in the 5 previous seasons but suddenly you have 3 loses in row in the current season and if something like that happens then it would be a normal thing.
Maybe except losing games is normal, even after five seasons unbeaten, but getting five 0-0's all away out of eight games without one in 11-12 season before seems like an anomaly.
I would say its definitely something really rare to see all these draws, but have to agree with @Lapidus, you can only take any assumption with a huge test (5 to 10 seasons in each patch version and under same circunstances like freeze morale, condition, etc..)
It's possible you just hit a scoring slump. That maybe in some other part of the season you'd win 3 of those games 2-0, maybe opponent would win another one 1-0. Or you could have lost 3 of these games but somehow got lucky to draw them. There is so much variance in match results that yes such runs can happen, in fact should happen.
The question was specific to the patch. Things change in the game with patches. It's not something I've seen in hundreds of seasons of FM23. Europe and cup games weren't affected at all. Just seemed odd immediately after the update. I know what RNG is

- Addressed an issue where 'Add/Remove Leagues' was adding newgens as opposed to real players - [FM23 Editor] Fixed an issue where specific editor files failed to be verified - [FM23 Console] Addressed an issue where users were unable to start Versus mode with imported teams

The M.E. hasn't changed and there's no other changes that might have an impact on the gameplay.
