Mark said: I will look to test it. I have had tall players with bad jumping reach that have been great fill ins for my better DCs. Lets see how it plays out in tests

I am pretty sure it has been tested with players who are the minimum height but have 1-3 attribute points higher than their max height opponents and they win the majority of headers? This was for 23 but id be surprised if they have "fixed" this for 24

I would always take the pace yes. I am using squirrels python with my own weighting for attrinbutes as I think he still gives too much to technicals which are really not that important - even marking for defenders. My results are fantastic. For a centre back I would want pace, acceleration and jumping reach as the top attributes and then balance, anticipation and concentration. And finally stamina, strength and aggression. I dont look for tackling or marking. And I would even put in dribbling for the third set of most important.

Mark said: I am unsure whether you can draw that conclusion from the data we have with the Attribute testing. The starting point is different for each attribute for each position in the test league. We do not have data down to position. We do not know what combinations work etc. I do know that if you get fast players across the pitch it will work. I also know that very tall DCs work.

Take the data you get and think about it and work with it. The attribute testing is there to give us hints for how we play the game not to solve the game for us.
