Tested with City, Treble winning. Haaland 90 goals. AM in charge of training and team selection, however I did stick Haaland in the AF role and went on holiday.

Wow quite the result, however, needs to have same sample size as the others to truely gauge it's performance. Nuts Attacking was up here not too long ago before the sample size knocked it down. I do hope a new leader emmerges!

Great stuff @CBP87. This is the shape I have had most success with in game but my tactic failed on FM Arena. I am still using it with great success but might now throw yours in as the Main Tactics. I run between 4 tactics, with 424 Grand Vol as a control tactic after we score or if the opposition is going more attacking, 343 Italian KO to Park the Bus and 424 Deformation II if we need a goal.

I just make sure I have a few versatile players and the bench to support transitioning between the tactics if I need it.

Thanks mate, I suspect it won't stay on top for long, especially when the 4k test kicks in

SK - Defend
WB - Take more risks, shoot less often, stay wider, tackle harder
BPD - Dribble More, Tackle Harder
DM - Take more risks, hold position, tackle harder
IF - Sit narrower, tackler harder
AM - Take more risks, move into channels, tackle harder
AF - Tackle harder

Can the best tactic be a normal, generic one after all? no more building staircases with your formation?

Liking the no focus play down wings. Gives it more variety than a lot of other tactics since it's basically a staple for every tactic.

Finding it promotes more through balls down the middle as well instead of always opting for the WB

@Zippo @Droid Morning, will this tactic be tested with 4000 matches or is it just 1200 increments once a certain score has been achieved? apologies if you've already answered this elsewhere

Since it's tactic HOF, it was probably tested with the 2400 first. If it was still at the top tactic after 2400, it would probably be retested at 4000.

It was the top tactic though so surely it should've been tested for 4000 regardless of the result at 2400 but then again probably best leaving it as another 1600 matches could see it drop further down the list

It was the best tactic for 1400. But why should the tactic that wasn't the best at 2400 be tested again at 4000? I think this method is quite logical.

The tempo has blown my mind, well done mate!

isn't it possible, in theory, for a tactic to win points on 4000? its random generated so there is a factor of luck no matter what, ofc less luck the more games played, but always a factor of luck involved, so this means tactics can gain points for more games played because of it being random no?

Yes but it could also lose points. I think if my memory serves me correctly 4000 is the sweet spot for RNG but you are right luck plays a part

Hi,

The following algorithm is used at this moment:

- if a tactic gets straight to the top after 1200 matches then at fist it gets tested up to 2400 matches and if it still keeps the 1st place after 2400 matches only then it gets tested up to 4000 matches
