Hale 4-2-3-1 Possession

Did two today, the difference between Hale 4-2-3-1 and this is that this one includes playing through the press, short goal kicks, working the ball into the box and discouraging long shots. I doubt there is much difference between the tactics but this did surprisingly well with Sheffield Wednesday, finishing 8th but also 1st on xG.

I remember for years that the meta involved playing out from the back and working the ball into the box and it was only FM24 that seemed to buck that trend, wouldn't be surprised to see it back as a "meta" instruction.

Sometimes been averaging over 60% on this FM, much easier to be successful while playing the ball short this year
