I haven’t tested this tactic with lower-tier teams yet. For set pieces, I usually use whatever my assistant recommends, and I don’t change the training schedule either.
The main thing I always pay attention to is positional familiarity. The strikers need to be trained to play as attacking midfielders out of possession, and the central midfielders need to be comfortable playing as defensive midfielders out of possession.
