How game roles affects actual game

Hi all
Do anyone made some research on current player's roles?

What i figured out yet:
For 4-2-3-1 formation it actually heavily matters which role to use, but PI's dont count that much
For example i've tried two CHM's for mid 2, and they dont usually play with a ball much, so my possesion dropped to 47-53
When i used 2 AP's for central mid they did well, but attack alot and covering same spots my AM does, and when we loose ball they have to cover alot of space so it made me concede more (opp xg rised to 1 or so every game)
Rn i use 1 AP and 1 MPM got around 60 pos and pretty good results, but maybe anyone got some more advices on roles?

Yeah, Roles matter. What i have seen for exmaple is if you have DM and DLP. You can give DM the same instructions as DLP have but they behave diffrently. And it comes ( i think) with every role

Roles are not just a set of PIs, but they also have hidden effects that make them unique. For example, all playmaker roles (DLP, AP, DLP, etc.) increase the probability of other players to pass the ball to their feet. Target players have increased chance to have the ball crossed to them. There are probably more of those hidden "modifiers", but only a dev could talk about all those things with authority.

Yeah i know theres no devs, but i mean maybe someone seen those effects etc
Clearly can see that MPM is like a glue for a midfield
AP gets down for a ball but also chasing channels
Thinking about best midfield double for control
