In case anyone wants to know, there is an exploit to change the agreed playtime without causing players to get unhappy. Steps to reproduce it are presented below.
1. Click to change the agreed playtime, then select the option to persuade the player to accept reduced playing time. 2. Pick any option like "I want to give time to every one", then back down and agree to keep it his way. 3. After that, you are free to change playtime without getting the player upset.
I am not saying you should use this exploit, but it is good to know it exists, because others might use it against you in multiplayer games.
See i might use this, because i'm going to be completely honest, the morale and keeping players happy part of the game doesn't really interest me. This allows my focus to stay on training and tactics without negative stuff from that playing time mechanic.

I think people can play the game in any way that brings them joy, so go ahead. It is only a problem if you use against others in multiplayer games, without them knowing, but other than that, anything is valid.
I think I also have another way. Transfer list a player, and then change his playtime, he won't be mad. Then remove him from the transfer list without clicking Continue so he doesn't get upset. Don't know if it works in FM26 or not.
