Just trying to see how far I can go with the default tactic shapes. I started with Blue as base, then tried to change a couple of roles and instructions, like team mentality or passing directness, before updating this one that gave me the best results. Sorry in advance if there are many tactics with the same shape, since it's based on a default formation of the game. Let me know what you think of it in the comments.

@ZaZ, this tactic and Universal tactic looks the same to me.

What's the difference between them?

I didn't check all tactics before posting this. The difference is probably team mentality, player instructions and set pieces, but I didn't download it to compare. If they think it's too similar, it just won't get tested.

Maybe they're almost the same. @ZaZ , is it possible to use inverted wingers?

They might be almost the same, since it's common to use high rated tactics as base when developing new ones. I think Blue, Phoenix, Afterlife and a couple of other tactics might have variants in almost all shapes. It's hard to know.

About inverted wingers, @infxamus just posted a new version of his Universal with that role.

As I can see both tactics have 'Positive' team mentality or I'm missing something? :)

Ohh, Universal is different in the forum post and in the tactic page. I don't know, they look very similar to me, so it probably won't get tested just because of different player instructions. In my defense, last post in that tactic was one month ago, before I posted this tactic. I'm now trying other default formations, since I plan to make at least 4 or 5 tactics in default shapes.

No worries. I'm just letting you know that there's a tactics that looks almost the same as your tactic and that has been tested already.

Changing a bit subject, I just got some idea for a nice shape that wasn't tested yet in FM-Arena while doing those "default formations". In short, 4-2-1-3 similar to Void, but with two RPM instead of a DM, and only one CM. I'll test it and see how it goes.

@ZaZ I have no idea how you do it .....

I tested it in Iceland - I have no screen shots but I was undefeated with the team Start. I test it in Serie A with Benevento, no transfers and so far its amazing

Nice! But if this tactic was tested, it wouldn't be too far from 6.0 score. There are several other tactics better than this, even with two strikers like Fanatic.
