The new update is amazing by age, value filters. Thank you for that!
Possebrew said: This is indeed how I also do it.
Although, I do not care about absolute scores that much, as I am still on my MAN save since I wrote the calculator.

My filter always includes Interested in Transfer & Loan, as it doesn't make sense for me to filter for players that don't want to play for my team.

Afterwards, I set Work-Rate to 10 as a pre-filter, and ACC/PAC to 15/15.
then I increment Acc/Pac until I reduced player-found to under 250.

My standard process goes like this:
1. I load my fresh squad-data, players-in-range & scouted data whenever I intend to begin scouting.
2. I go position by position for my squad and check if the best player in Data-Analysis is a player in my squad or if there's someone else ranking higher.
3. Based on the gap between players, I decide whether to buy/loan a new player.
4. Repeat for each individual position in my formation.

I am quite surprised how many of you request features for the team-builder, as I myself almost never use it. So I assume some of you already have more expertise in using the calculator than me :)

What's your attribute settings for GK?
Possebrew said: Here's a sample of a quickstart with MAN City

For DC & DMC, the top seems to be in the high 300s.
Antonio RĂ¼diger is the only one above 400.

Nice! Thank you!

It would be nice if you put a filter in score as well, like showing only players with specific score and higher (or lower) for example.
Possebrew said: This should work too now, based on my explanation earlier.
Can you please test it?

Yes, it is work.

Can you give a little more guidance regarding the output score? For example, what score should be ok - good for EPL team?
Possebrew said: Thank you! I hadn't thought about that, but sure!
Any little bit would help :)

You are welcome! Question: Sometimes, the player in range scouting showing inside the game a range. For example 9-13. Usually the "correct" attribute is in the middle (ie. 11). How the tool translate that? What value does it take?
Amazeballs! Thank you for creating and sharing such a tool! You can include a donation button, in order to help with maintain the cost; if you want. :)
Not sure how many of you searching deep in folders and files. Here the training.fmf from the root. You will need the Resource Archiver and uncompress the file. Opening the files (after uncompress), the content inside is encoded - crypted with a method unknown to me. You will find answers more quickly from spending time and energy to find things. Good luck!

HoYD is 1/3 of the story, but I would choose someone based on the table of weighting.
Middleweight165 said: So when choosing a HoYD i look at:
- Personality
- Preferred formation

I'm still on FM21 so i believe Negotiating isn't a attribute in this version. WWY tends to be high with top HoYD but Im still 50/50 whether it has any effect

So apart from the 2 things Ive listed, is there anything else I should be looking at when choosing a HoYD?

All these attributes, not single alone. Working with Youngsters is equal important like JPA, JPP. Determination is equal important as Motivating.

Any effect of X HoYD require time (probably 2-3 years) and results is not immediate.
Middleweight165 said: In terms of recruitment and the quality of player in the intake?

From Nation side:

- Game Importance
- FA Financial Power
- Economic Factor
- State of Development
- Youth Rating

From Club side:

- Youth Coaching
- Youth Facilities
- Youth Recruitment
- Youth Importance

From HoYD I would say that Negotiating & Working with Youngsters is two key attributes; since that role working (and negotiating) with players before they appear in the game (like U16 for example).
Middleweight165 said: But we were talking specifically about recruitment. Its no doubt all these attributes are important in different tasks required by the HOYD but we are trying to pinpoint which one has an effect on the quality of your intake

All of that plays a role. Like preferred formation of HoYD which has 433 DM Wide, you will often players in ST, AMLR, DM etc positions, not AMC or ML for example (will be rare).
HoYD requires:

- Attacking
- Defending
- Fitness
- Mental
- Technical
- Tactical
- Working with Youngsters
- Determination
- Motivating
- People Management
- JPA
- JPP
- JSA
- Negotiating
- Tactical Knowledge

If you fill those attributes with 20; you will get a CA 200.

It's not only JPA, JPP, Working with Youngsters (which have 4.0 in weighting), but other attributes as well. As everything in the game, attributes plays in combination. To make it more easy understandable: ST with 20 in Finishing, does not mean will score 200 goals. Other combination is essential. Same apply for staff.
Madundwa said: Definite food for thought.

It's interesting article, since have been written in 18/08/2014 and pretty easily explain the factors and situation, before the war. It's like we see the results now, from what happened back in time where the majority of earth didn't had a clue.

In 21/03/2022; it's pretty hard to find something which can try to explain the situation in neutral mode.
Harrison said: I wonder if having low Punching is more important than high Agility. Both are maxed in the table but the table doesn't go negative. Has anyone looked into this?

Punching has zero weighting for GK, which means is a cost free CA point (-s). Agility from the other hand is very important; has 8.0, like Handling & Reflexes. Decision is 10.0 which is a "must have" for GK.
Nice! Thank you for testing! :)
