I am trying my hand at the old 41212. I like defensive wingers so let's see if this works.

Looks similar to the excellent Wide XMAS Tree (also by Blau), with two strikers instead of two AM plus lower defensive line. Wonder if results are better because of two strikers or lower line

Just completed my season 1 holidaying with this tactic. Finished 3rd in EPL with Southampton.
Good:
1. The tactic is a baller
Bad:
1. It really hard to find good IWB & DW
So this might be a very good tactic for 2nd season and up if you are guy who just holidays like me because it's not always possible to sell players in season 1.

Just get anyone good for DL/R or ML/R. The stars from role ability are just cosmetic and have no effect in game.

If it helps at all in my experience the preferred foot of both the DW and IWB do not matter. However, I do think it is beneficial if the wingers are decent at tackling.

If my memory serves me right then in fm-arena league wingers(DWs) have like "5" for "Tackling" so I really don't think that high "Tackling" is necessary.

They pick up a lot of yellow cards if they don't have alright tackling. I just find it annoying to have to change the role since you can't tell them to ease off tackles.

Seem DW is even more buffed. Still it will be a slight headache to teach players that position, cuz we’re lacking in natural MR/L, but this pays off. Great stuff

Of course, at some point we'll give this tactic and other top rated tactics an additional testing.
At this point the testing server is quite busy, there're some tactics from the previous patch await to be re-tested and also people post tactics for the new patch.

Question, do you guys use Individual position/role traning for your tactics ? or you leave that to assistant ?
i dont use it at all because player are tired
