Does anybody have any formulas or rules on player contracts? for example appearance fee is always 1/5 the players wage or goal/assist bonus is always 10% the players wage.

you can just set all those bonuses to 0. A couple of players with 0 bonuses. I just give them season goal bonus for incentive
