Yes, I tried it in my own test league (and here too - links below) and it seems to slow down the build up and invite more pressure on the defence and with ME poor defensive positioning and some other defensive bugs it would just concede more goals so I concluded that until now it cannot be used.

If you want try it on some setups :)
