Using mine 4231 Pirate's defensive logic with @Chris  (with @dzek 's tweaks) Box Levante offensive shape.

SK(A) became that much op? lmao

It's interesting how a defensive tweak improves the attack but not the defence :))

That's because i started from my 4231 Pirate idea, which was very effective defensively but less in scoring, i wanted the Box Levante's amount of goals, so i tried to add offensive mood of this one to the former one, btw some new version are already in testing queue, so we'll see e.e

I still dont get it the defensive idea, can u explain it  better? Changelog not clear.

So sorry, i'll try to be more clear: in this version i wanted to try fullback instead of wingbacks to be more solid, then i created other versions (still in testing queue) with PI on FBs more similar to 4231 Pirate ones, so curious if they will have some effects or not

btw it dropped so bad :c

So far, what you say has been proven to be wrong many times in many shapes.

Please, don't mislead people and don't present your "assumptions" as facts.

I respect what you say but I would like you to tell me more about it with facts.

All AI managers without exception use IWB(s) on DR/WBR and WB(a) on DL/WBL and after my own testing and that of others here and elsewhere we conclude that IWBs inside FM24 are weak at defending. So with that in mind I can simply put in 'Focus Play Down The Left' & 'Overlap Left' and I will get better results with almost all formations and roles that encourage these moves. There are other things we can take as examples as well, but I think you get the point here.

The above is presented as a fact when it's far away to be true, you can see it by checking the results of many tested tactics so far.

I mean, before saying something like that why would you tested it? It's really easy to do... just as you say add 'Focus Play Down The Left' & 'Overlap Left' to "almost any formation" and show us how you "break" the test league with your tweaks.

Read it again and pay attention to the big bold letters.

Other than that I have my opinion (whether right or wrong) and anyone can refute me with facts so that I can find out where I am wrong.

The fact that this year WB/FB (and not just this year) are very strong and playing in this particular tactic against a W and an IWB, on the left side completely alone, but at the same time being efficient doesn't tell you anything? I consistently get better results from my DL than from my DR and I use a test league that is almost identical to FMArena's. And just to catch you up in case you happen to have read my other thread here, no it's not that test league I'm referring to.

Mate, some interaction are better with overalp some others are not. It's pretty simple. What you should check if how much those "TI" literally impact on the scenario you did literally mentioned.

About this test, to be honest the only thing caught my attention is "GK on Attack".

I agree, man. I didn't discover nuclear physics with what I said. IWB have a weakness in defending this year and IF you use formations/instructions/roles/duties that encourages that movement then you will get better results - NOT the best results in general.

Are the player instructions in this tactic the same as the previous version?
