At the FM world cup a lot of players used tactics that looked much like the top tactics on this site. When the winners were asked of their secret to success they answered that it's the Opposition Instructions, so it stands to reason that it's what sets them apart from the rest.
From what I saw they put show onto weaker foot on everyone except the CBs and GK, tackle hard on the fullbacks and DMs, and always trigger press on the fullbacks. They also increased time wasting when they take the lead in the second half, which I believe can be emulated on holiday mode through the Match Plans tab.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has tinkered with Opposition Instructions and Match Plans and found what configuration works for them.
I might be wrong here, but i think i read it once in this forum that tests were conducted and opposition instructions dont do anything. It's all about the tactic

The only thing I can find is this one, but it's from FM23 and only tests one configuration of OIs.

pretty sure it applies to FM24, since its the same engine
