Hey mate,

SK - Tackle Harder
FB - Takes more risks, tackle harder, stay wider, cross from byline, cut inside
BPD - Dribble more, tackle harder
DM - Take more risks, tackle harder
IF - Sit narrower, tackle harder, mark specific position **Right IF on LB and Left IF on RB**
AM - Take more risks, hold up ball, move into channels, tackle harder
AF - Take more risks, tackle harder

Very similar tactic,but found this one better than the Indonesia one

All the 4231s are very similar. I don't know what this Indonesia tactic is people are referring to but it's not based on that

Bro, is your tactic effective only in an attacking mood? Will it work in a weak club in an amateur league with a reserved and defensive mood against stronger teams?

I haven't tested it in another mentality, but what I would say is that I've often had success against stronger teams using an attacking mentality. Not saying you're guaranteed to win but worth a try

Okay one question, you just use custom tactic without any tactical style? Like imagine, gerard used tiki taka, what u use? Nothing? dunno if im making myself clear tho.

Yeah its clear, I wouldn't take much note of the tactical style on custom tactics. Its sort of a signature for some people. Gerrards tactics are more gegenpress than tiki taka

There will be a tactical style but this is just what Gerrard has named his, a lot of the top tactics are gegenpress, I wouldn't pay any attention to the tactical style

Idk im not pro or anything but for me, it gets confused when there is no tactical style, its like they do wtv they want or its messy you know? Thats why i always put some tactical style or i feel that there is no meaning in what i do in terms of playstyle.

This is a gegenpress tactic, if you put it this way, you could load in a preset park the bus then edit the crap out of it, adding and removing instructions then all of a sudden its no longer a park the bus tactic but a vertical tika taka but your tactical style still says park the bus but its clearly not that tactical style, the tactical style naming doesn't change unless you change it. Like I said I wouldn't focus any attention on that whatsoever

Here is a update with Brighton. Changed both DM and Wing Backs see pictures below with instructions too and results from Barcelona home is something special.

I agree with changing from full backs to wingbacks. They seems to work much better offensively without disrupt the defensive system. Usually a wing back on attack works nicely with a inside forward on support. Other thing, the two defensive midfielders on support and the two ball playing defenders works fine, but never managed to obtain a strong combination between them. any tips? maybe change one role of them? I do not know. It seem that this year is a must to have ball playing defenders and defensive midfielders on support because all of the topic tactics have these roles. Finally, the combination between an attacking midfielder on attack and advanced forward doesnt work. It says clearly that the roles don't match each other on this engine, it needed to change for an attacking midfielder on support, but even though i didnt manage to have a strong combination between them. I was wondering what is the best role combination between the two positions. If an advanced playmaker would work with an advanced forward (which by the way is another must on this year.

The full back on attack is very similar to how the wing back on attack performs. I'm not on my computer at the moment so can't look at the difference in PIs but the PIs set on the FB push them to act more like wingbacks so changing the role to wingback shouldn't have too much of an impact. The DM role in my opinion is the best role for the defensive midfield especially covered with another DM. I've checked out other role combinations and they weren't as effective as the double pivot DM. In regards to AP role in AM I'm not a fan. Something doesn't seem right with it even alongside an AF. The game may tell that role is more effective along with another role but I think it's been proven for a while now that AM and AF are most effective. Thank you for the kind words. Appreciate it 👍
