Wow mate well done what’s the instructions ?

OCB - shoot less often, take more risks and tackle harder
BCB - tackle harder
AWB - stay narrower, shoot less often, cross from byline and tackle harder
CHM - move into channels, tackle harder
IF - stay wider, take more risks, tackle harder
SS - tackle harder

Good job!

Top of the pops, well done

I have a question about instructions, as maybe console version differs a bit. Here you put "move into channels" for CHM. I can see on PS5 that for CHM this is default one so no need to change. Is it different on PC? Just wanted to understand why you put it specifically. The same is for IF - "take more risks" passing - e.g. it is already active when put IF role.

It's a visual thing.

The PIs are locked in, I just typed them in, habit I'm afraid

So you use Haaland on the AMC position? And no matter team you use a pure striker on that position even though they might never get fully adapted or not even close to being natural on the AMC position?

I tried similar tactics but always went for an AMC player, but they often lack really good shooting (15/16+) and physic. So i feel like i get to easy locked down in some matches if i have two small/avg wingers and an AMC/playmaker type in the middle?

I have only ever used a striker in the SS role, in my Porto save, I played Samu Aghehowa there and it took him about 6-7 months playing in that role before he became AMC/ST, you could add role training, but I didn't bother, I just played him there from the off, he was 2 star rated at the start and by February he was 5 stars in that role. He scored 55 goals in 37 appearances in all comps

is this the best tactic in fm

Let's go party!!!

I switched to this tactics playing in 1-st Danish league with my Amateur Sundby Boldklub (as I live 15 minutes walking distance from real club's facilities in Copenhagen) and got immediately relegated to 2nd league - only 4 draws and all losses :) But then next season promoted again and finally somehow club turned into Professional (it was pain with Amateur status especially with growth and training). So buying beer after the office hours today and will try to get to Superligaen :)

94, damn. Well done mate.

Who knows, but it has scored highest in the arena testing but the best tactic is a matter of peoples opinion

Why include the instruction to leave the center?

I don't know what you mean

hey thanks for your tactic, what kind of player would you recommend as a AM?

0

Amazing, thank you. Curious, if I turned on "Play For Set Pieces", would it make the tactic noticeably worse? I want the best tactic but also want my main goalscorer to bag a lot of pens too.

Hi mate. If I’ve made the tactic and put the pi’s and ti’s on but haven’t put the mentality as attacking by mistake would I have to remake the tactic or just make it attacking

Stick a striker there, that's all I've ever used

I haven't tried play for set pieces but this tactic should be getting the most out of your main goalscorer

Yes, just change the mentality to attacking

I found that compared to autumn my defense was more leaky in this tactic for some reason, chance conversion lower in some matches as well.

The only difference I could attribute would be due to the line behavior TI and crossing style.

@CBP87 any idea what could be causing?

What team are you? Step up more is leaving more space between the defence and GK so you're potentially more at risk of through balls. I'll be honest in terms of crossing, I don't really have an opinion, low crosses will hit feet, balanced will hit feet and head so there is a mixture but for balanced crossing to work you would need a striker with decent heading/strength

Airdrieonians Scottish 2nd division. It started the season outperforming what I had experienced with Autumn, then we started drawing and losing, we still finished the season outperforming media prediction though and thought it could be down to just dip in form during the season, however I started another season same file, same team, same personnel and did the same season with Autumn and resulted with less draws and losses, and more goals.

Always could be RNG, but based off what you stated about the TI differences I would expect Barbie to outperform Autumn given my personnel.

( Sorry for the novel btw )

You also have to attribute player quality, the lower down the leagues you go then the likelihood is you're going to see more players that are less physical then players towards the top leagues, by that I mean acceleration and pace. So teams rely more on crosses and headers and you're less likely to see balls played through because the quality just sometimes isnt there. Don't rule out how important acceleration and pace is but also autumn is a very very good tactic

Hi I have an interesting question! If I were doing a moneyball save where I look at statistics rather than purely attributes, what statistics should I be looking at for each position? Things like dribbles/90, goals expected/90 things like that. Thank you!

Look up MustermannFM on youtube. He has a number of moneyball saves and talks through how to download key information to Excel and gives examples of usage.
