@ZaZ

I've been using this on my Charlton save. I started using it towards the end of my first season in the Prem after back to back promotions from League One using something else and I'm now in season 2 of the Prem.

It's really starting to kick in now that I have players suited to the tactic and they are getting the green links, see the attached run of games!

I watched Tooka's video on the tactic and noticed the pass map issue with the DW's and IWB's standing on each others toes. I started having a play with the roles to try and get them separating out a bit. Putting them on Winger Attack has a hug impact on position, they fly up the pitch.

After a while messing around with it I thought 'Zaz has probably done all this already' so I gave up haha

Hey Zaz - how would you line up in this tactic with Pool and City?

Thanks for testing! Yes, I tried W-At before and it was slightly worse. Not much, so you can keep it if you want. You can also try to make IWBs into WBs so they don't cut to the middle. As a side note, it's not so bad to have players nearby in that area, it also means your flanks are well covered.

Guidito said: Hey Zaz - how would you line up in this tactic with Pool and City?

Just think of IWB as a normal wing back or full back and DW as normal wingers. Then, just put players in their best position.

Thanks - what do you think are the important attributes of the DWs?
In pool, would you use Robertson and TTA in DW position or IWB? Thanks!

See "Important Attributes" section in first post.

In short, if you have two players that you want to use together and they can play IWB and DW, I would use the one with highest dribbling as DW.

Using the Blue DM with great results. Just wondering if anyone has any training schedules they could recommend? I'm using the Thedoubleintensitytraining schedules at the moment but just wondering if anyone has any they'd recommend?

Great job by the Zaz. Good tactic.

any advice on having the amc make more of an impact? he's either 3 games in a row invisible or scores 2... alot of 6.5 and 6.4 ratings

It's already making an impact, he's just not getting good grades for that. It's the same as DLP last year. If you change it to other roles, it usually makes your performance worse as a team.

Great tactic ZaZ.

First season with Man Utd as winner of Premier League (98 points), Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Right now im playing world cup for teams.

Ronaldo got 34 goals in 26 league games and a total of 59 goals in 43 matches.

Only transfer in the season was Joakim Mæhle from Atalanta in winter window as he can play both left/right IWB and the MR position.

Im doing a save with a lot of yougsters trying to make another Golden Era like the class of 92.
Ofc Mbappé was signed for free in january.

Otherwise im trying focus on developing from youth and only signing players in the age of 16-18.

Against PSG I won 5-0 Away and 5-0 Home.
Also 5-0 Home against Real Madrid.

1

Hay Zaz do you just train your current wingers to be DW instead? i downloaded this and my current wingers are not suited so not sure if i need to buy new players or train :)

Check "Role Ability" at first post.

That's how it is. Premier League has a gap too wide to Sky Bet Championship, because the TV money is too high. Focus on staying up so you can build a better squad for next year.

Yeah I looked at that ZaZ All my midfielders/wingers show nothing no green for the roles for this formation so I guess I need to let them learn the roles or maybe buy new players suited?

Thanks for everything you do Merry Christmas :)

I don't understand what you mean with green for role. If you mean the stars on tactics screen, then check "Role Ability" in the first post. If you mean position rating, then you should make sure they are at least accomplished in their position before they can perform well. If you mean match scores, then it doesn't matter much as long as your team is winning. Just make sure all your players are fast (pace and acceleration).

1

when I check to see if their accomplished in the role the bar is just empty no green or anything just says awkward :)

I suppose you mean tactical familiarity? Then, you need to put them to train the desired role by right click > train > position/role.

yeah that sorry for any confusion thanks for the help :)

(Skott = Shots, På Mål = On target)
So I'm sure you can guess the result. This is a bit extreme, but most of my games so far end up with me bombarding the opponent's goal(and I guess the stands behind it). What can I do to improve and actually score some goals? I have good strikers for the division I'm playing. In the last patch, I used your Orange tactic with the same team, and my striker banged over 30 goals in the league(30 games)And I have so many matches now where my opponents have 2 shots on target and score 1 or 2 goals. It's really frustrating to draw these games when you are so dominating.

Welcome to FM! I mean, can you post your "scoring" graph from Data Hub? This tactic is usually "high score, clinical shooting", standing in the top right of the scatter graph. If it's not in that area, then there might be a problem with players or bad luck with RNG.

Not sure where I should be looking, but here is a screenshot of the data hub(I can't afford any performance analyst, so the reports may be a bit inaccurate). But after I posted this I played 5 more games and we started to score some goals. So maybe players are still "learning" the tactic :]

In the right side, you can click "ask for" and write "scoring", then you get a graph like this. In this picture, for example, I'm in the top right even with the weakest team of the league.

Your players don't score their chance not because they're still "learning" the tactic but due to many different factors.

Let's say a player has these attributes:

Morale - "Ok"
Conditions - 90%
Decisions - 13
Composure - 13
Finishing - 13

And these attributes values give him scoring chance about 40%

Now imagine, a player has these attributes:

Morale - "Superb"
Conditions - 100%
Decisions - 16
Composure - 16
Finishing - 16

And these attributes values give him scoring chance about 60%

Also, we should take into consideration the opposite GK's "Reflexes" and "One one One"

That's how the game work and if your players don't score their scoring chances then the tactic has nothing to do with it.

The places where strikers shoot from also have some influence. For example, if the striker gets the ball inside the box without any defender nearby, he will have a higher chance to score than shooting from outside the box with a defender between him and the goal.

Yes, that's true.

That's why there are "Half Chances" and "Clear Cut Chances" in the game. Also, xG rates differently different chances.

1

I disagree with you both, there is a big problem with the 1vs1 finishing on this M.E to the point regardless of tactics, both human and AI players will miss 80% of clear cut chances it's beyond a joke. It's broken which is why you don't see any tactic achieve a high volume of total goals scored in a season. Unless you sim, your strikers will be lucky to get 40 goals in total in a attacking formation.

This is because you can regular games where you have 30 shots on goal, and only one of them will go in, while the opposition can have only a handful and score from their first successful attempt on target.

Look at the stats below for example of this

Go on SI community and see the number of complaints in the bug sections regarding 1vs1 clear cut chances being missed and it's loads. The cunts at SI nerfed the percentage of goals being scored because there were a bunch of morons complaining that strikers were scoring too many goals and headers.

LOL... Are you disagreeing about what?

Where did I say that I'm happy with the 1vs1 convertation rate?

I just say that if your player don't score their scoring changes then blaming the tactic would be the stupidest things to do because the tactic has nothing to do with the 1vs1 convertation rate.

P.S. I'm also not happy about the 1vs1 convertation rate.
