Hello good buddies,
Having seen the pasting my previous tactic received in the FM Arena test, I have been back to the lab and changed some things and believe I had stumbled upon a much more potent version of my previous system.
It gets rid of the balanced approach which limited midfield support in attack, and I've always changed the BWM role and made it a CM on support. I've seen my striker get more goals as a result, turning into the Haaland alternative I always wanted.
If you're struggling against a team that is better than you, you can turn the passing length and tempo up to the second highest setting to the right on both sliders.
The system keeps possession, especially at home, utilizing crosses into the lone advanced forward. Ideally he isn't 5ft 5in, but it's not a necessity.
No opposition instructions needed.
