Out of curiosity from the 424 I recently had tested, I've changed the strikers to SS's and the wingers dropping deeper to a more defensive 460 shape and would be interested to purely see the impact this would make.
It still seems to work fairly well winning a quad 100 points with Pool and 3rd place with Fulham. If you could please give this a quick run for me that would be great.
Yes, to supplement the narrow defensive strategy I'll show all players positioned on the left side of the pitch onto their left foot and players on the right side of the pitch to their right (shows them to the touchline), and I also show the central striker onto their weaker foot.
Hi, this is my first system created for the newest patch. I've wanted to create an aggressive 424 formation durable at all levels and be as consistent as possible.
It works well enough at the top level, so I ran a couple of tests with Fulham and Fylde and they fared pretty well, achieving 81 points with Fulham and a Vanerama North / FA Trophy double with Fylde.
If you could please give this a run for me that would be great.
I've been working on an offensive double volante and IW 424 system which has achieved some v positive results at times, but I'm hoping it could please be tested for consistency.

Thank you v much for testing my original version of my system. After taking the results into account, I have decided to see whether I can improve this for underdog sides.
Instead of a VOL on attack, I have changed this to support duty. This has now become a very fluid system, but should be more defensively sound to grind out results - in theory. My offense is still very varied, so I'm hoping it will still have enough going forward.
My original tactic also gave me a Pool quintet with 100 points - this more pragmatic version gave it 96 points with a quintet too - but the Championship result with Watford gave a huge points total, so I think this may be a more stable system.
If you could please also give this one a run that would be brilliant.

This instead of using the Inverted Wing-backs / Winger combo, uses Wing-Backs and Inverted Wingers combo that keeps to a diamond formation, although this time around I'm using the DLP-S in the DM strata to be more potent on the counter, due to the alternate style of football I've looked to create.
The style of game instead of a Pep / Klopp, now more resonates with Klopp / SAF.
It's a system I really want to try and get to work well, but I've found it very hard to judge the consistency of this system in general, so a run through on this would be much appreciated.

The idea behind the creation was to have a blend of Pep and Klopp ball, but using this particular shape.

I released a 442 diamond quite a while back now which utilised the attacking mentality and so naturally was a little more direct in its approach. (WOM version).
This time round I wanted to re-design this to go with a much more controlled and intelligent way of playing this diamond, and be more aesthetically pleasing in the process. So this version is a much more Italian styled tempo game, with shorter passing and lower tempo on the positive mentality that will look to stretch the opposition.
It will require highly technical players, and even more so in this version. Instead of the Regista pulling the strings – there's now two em them in the middle as you can add the Trequartista here into the mix. It also throws in the poacher in Pippo Inzaghi.
So you will really need some elegant players to fill the DMC and AMC positions in this tactic, and to utilise the pass into space option effectively, a Regista with great passing accuracy, vision, and a keenness to play killer through balls from deep to find either strikers breaking the offside trap, or the Trequartisa drifting into open spaces.
It’s a tactic all about the style and therefore not really designed for the lower sides so I haven't yet tested it at a lower level, but would like to see how consistent this version will be compared to the other and how possession will compare.

First is my other favourite style of football to watch compared to Barca – Pulis.Ball, based on his Stoke side and tweaked for this last patch.
You’ll get to watch your side keep lumping up to the two pressing forwards who will harry the opponents back line aggressively from the front.
The defensive side will see our back four be well positioned to drop deeper when need be, making the side a solid outfit to break down.
In all honesty, it might actually put some of you to sleep watching this sort of football in FM and the possession count can get very low.
Nevertheless, I do enjoy the style and hope there are some other defensive long-ball lovers out there that will resonate =)
And yes, this system does use the defensive mentality and for the first time in my tactics, I have a long throw routine setup in memory of Rory Delap!

If Stoke could get to an FA Cup Final with players who can’t play football, I was hoping that surely with a better group it could potentially give some success.
Albeit a low points tally, we won the premiership with my Liverpool season 2 side with a mere 88 points and 39 goal difference only! But this was along with winning the other 3 major trophies too.
With Chester, we comfortably gained promotion from the Vanarama North.
I’d like to see how this fares as a standalone system here, as I think I saw a defensive system struggle when tested.
I’m hoping it will perform reasonably okay, in the hope the long-ball may have a place in the next fm coming up.

My other is what I’ve named a 325 formation, as through roles and PIs it probably comes closer to a 325 formation in the offensive phase.
It’s called flood, as its simply one of my higher goalscoring system along with one of my leakier defense ones. The player formation seems to be a successful one on this year’s FM, so wanted to try create something from it.
It achieved a 101 goal difference which I thought was pretty okay so wanted to give this a test run here too.

I’m a big fan of possession football, and this is my system I have created so far last patch. The ME isn’t well suited to this style and will be highly inconsistent, but nevertheless I’ve tried to strike a balance where the tactic will play nice with the ball, with a degree of added effectiveness and durability.
I’m hoping this style can get some decent possession numbers with a relative degree of success – and with any luck FM21 might be a little more receptive to this style rather than overpowering gegenpressing and quick tempo again…
Pep / Enrique Hybrid
The tactic aims to replicate the very short and controlling tempo of Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona, mixed with the great tendency to counter-attack under Luis Enqrique. And roles are probably a hybrid of the two.
Rather than use positive mentality which is controlled football without a purpose, I’ve gone with attacking mentality where there is a purpose but with TIs that will fall under a more positive mentality.
When teams sit back, watching the team play you should get a feel of Pep’s Barca when trying to probe and camp outside the opponent’s 18 yard box patiently waiting for an opening to appear, further watching the opposition boot the ball back to us to rebuild patiently from the back again following intense counter-pressing high up.
I have also tried to set both defensive and offensive set pieces so it will play a little bit more like the Spaniards do.
Roles
Roles are always a bit ambiguous with defining Barca. However seeing a heatmap online and the general areas the midfielders tend to play in, I’ve gone with the roles shown with player PPMs and PIs being the definition as to how a player will perform within the role.
This more noteable with Xavi, as his movements are box to box but PPMs will promote playing more a playmaker style / dictate tempo etc. I’ve also gone with attacking wing-backs in Dani Alves / Alba, with MSN as the forward trio.
This tactic will be best used in leagues where you’re allowed to play football with opponents less aggressive in their pressing, or where you have a vast superior side with highly technical players.
It should be a system enjoyable to watch in action, and for any that do give it a try will hopefully see what I’m visibly trying to create.

I’ve done a few test runs myself on this with the more positive ones available for viewing.
I would say it does have inconsistencies, but I guess naturally that will happen with high possession systems especially with this ME favouring gegenpressing.
But it does show a capability where it can work in a good year and be successful at both the higher and lower levels.
I’m hoping the tests will give a greater idea of the consistencies, and the possession it will currently generate on average as I can’t see this on FM touch.
Ultimately I would like to maximise possession with a degree of consistency in results so this should help provide me a benchmark for when the next FM arrives.
Hi, hoping you could please test this brand new one for me. In a game I have going in France, in an attempt to score more goals with a good team now built that I hope can give PSG a run for their money, the players are currently suited my 442 inverted wingers Invincibles tactic.
However still lacking in talent both at the back and going forward, with more goals needed to win enough games in France, I have tried to further enhance a more gungho approach but remaining as solid as possible by way of asymmetry.
This as a result now has turned into a gegenpressing 4114 iw formation, with an attempt to promote a slightly greater degree of stability in defence whilst having a number of options going forward, both breaking at speed whilst maintaining the ability to play fluid football and create overlaps regularly in the opposing third.

My tests ran with Liverpool was successful winning all trophies and securing 103 points. We also comfortably got promoted with Chester in the Vanerama North controlling things throughout the year from match 4 onwards.
It’s a system very out of the ordinary for me and a couple of times it’s had over 60 shots at goal which is a decent number, so I’m hoping you could please give this one a quick run.
