Just how many goals can Ronaldo score?

I made a little tweak to @Zealot's Revelation 1.0 tactic. All I did was change it to a positive mentality and add my own corner routine. - https://fm-arena.com/thread/1814-prophecy-amp-revelation/

Ran a test season with Man Utd, Norwich and Leeds. I normally put a big centre back attacking the near post but stuck Ronaldo there to see just how many goals he could get, well he did okay (94 in 50).

I think (i could be wrong though) the key to the corners is pulling defenders away from the near post, the player coming short does this along with the 'Lurk on Edge of Area' player. The 'Go Forward' player needs to be behind the 'Attack Far Post' player. You have to move multiple players into that spot to get him positioned correctly (and then move them back out).

Use the extra 'Stay Back' player as the corner taker (move people around to make that a good corner taker but keep the set-up the same). Lefty on taking right sided corners, righty on the left. The more big players you have in attacking positions the more freedom the near post man will have so jiggle it around.

Positive mentality is pretty big difference

The mentality and the corners are big gamechangers in the current ME and both elements have been changed in this tactic so I guess it isn't hard to make a conclusion which works better for this tactic.

I mean, sure, but the corner setup seems good since he scored 35 goals in 38 matches and I use a similar one and it's very effective, does the mentally really equals to almost a 300 point difference?

Channing the mentality from "Very Attacking" to "Positive" makes a huge difference. Also, about 15% of goals comes from the corners so even a small change might have drastic consequences.

you can just download the game saves of the tests and check how many goals both tactics scored from the corners so that way you can find out which corner setup is better.

Hmmm... "a 300 point difference" ? What do you mean? I see the points per match 1.803 vs 1.530 so it's a 15% difference when it comes to the points per match.

I guess you guys are right, there´s a big difference in goals scored from corners, but in this tweak the one attacking them is the striker with 175cm, 9 jumping reach and 11 heading so he should not score them anyway

The goals from corner is only a small part

Just look this tweak with Positive mentality scored 1.859 goals per match when the original tactic with "Very Attacking" mentality scored 2.474 goals per match so this tweak scored 25% less goals overall than the base tactic and I'd say 25% less goals is a huge difference.

Yes, this tweak had a better defense than the base tactic but as you can see it wasn't enough to compensate the loss in the attack
