A sunken 4-4-1-1 that's tested fantastically. I know Haaland's a monster, but this is by far the most goals I've gotten out of him. This is a tactic that definitely gets the most of out of a star striker.
I've seen the fantastic work of CBP87, Gianaa9 and Gerrard, and wanted to build my own shape inspired by their ideas. No set piece routines were used to give the best reflection of the tactic itself.
The simulation's results have been great, I find when playing and protecting a lead, simply dropping the fullbacks to 'Support' and wasting times allow me to see out games. If chasing, changing mentality to 'Very Attacking' from about 75 minutes onwards seems to consistently be effective, but by no means bulletproof. Just to be clear though, no match plans were used during the test.
Really keen to hear how this works for your teams, and if there are any tweaks to be made to push this tactic even further. I've struggled to get any kind of consistency for the CBs match ratings, so if anyone has any advice on that specifically, it'd be much appreciated!
