4-2-2-2 DM AM The Dream

This tactic was made by me. I always liked to tinker with tactic engines in FM games and creating quick one-touch attacking passing strategies. I called it "The Dream" because if you have the right players this tactic plays crazy good attacking passing football and also defends well - the dream for every manager. It plays kinda like the Spain national team with this difference that it employs two AMs instead of two wide players like Spain did.

The only thing that could be the setback is having the right players for it - you should aim for two very intelligent AMs and strong DMs (make sure that the DMs have good tackling, positioning and passing), also for BPDs who can dribble and get the ball forward from defense. The attacking FBs assist a lot (my right FB got 20 assists in one season). I lost the final of CL to Inter, but played very well, outplayed them, and got unlucky. That is football at the end of the day. If you don't have the right players, it can still work as a stepping stone for you until you buy the right players.

If you start losing a match, you can switch to Attacking or Very Attacking mentality, play with Much higher defensive line or press Much More, Be more Expressive, your choice. This tactic can struggle if the opposing team defends the middle with 1 or 2 DMs, but you can increase the width to Fairly Wide or Wide which will encourage your players to use the flanks more. It is flexible in this regard, I made sure of this. Also, you can remove the Invite Crosses shout if you don't have tall defenders. The individual player instructions I didn't touch, the tactic plays well with them.
