Do you have a tactical file that adjusts DM and Wing?
What attributes do you look for in DMs for this formation? Everyone else plays pretty well and gets decent ratings but the DMs always get poor average ratings for me. When recruiting I always went for players that had good attributes highlighted in the DM - Support role and made sure they had good tackling and physical attributes, seeing as they do a lot of the pressing and ball winning.

Hey, I go for acceleration, pace, anticipation, concentration, positioning and work rate.
Bear in mind, this role isn't about ratings, its about doing the basics, winning the ball back and giving it to a more creative outlet. I wouldn't worry about the ratings for this role
I’m looking at getting back into FM after a few years off, I’m more of a casual player now and love the idea of download and play to get back into,
Is it as simple as downloading this tactic and plug and play? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated Expand
Hey,
pretty much yeah. Stick the tactic into all 3 slots. Make sure to recruit players that have good acceleration and pace, I'd say no less than 14 but the higher the better.
Does loading it onto all 3 increase their familiarity?
Tried last night getting back into it with Middlesbrough and a great pre season turned spurt losing first 3 games by 4 goals each 😂 Expand
Yes it will make the players get familiar with the tactic quicker, what will help also is training the roles, what tactic were you using? Pre season can be very misleading, I tend to play around 6 games against smaller teams. I also play my strongest 11 if possible so that they are familiar with the tactic/roles but they can also build up chemistry
I used a few tactics, but swapped between them thinking I was some sort of Pep ha
I’ve never done training always left it to staff but think that’s a big factor in failing, Do you or anyone have any advice on what to do when starting the game?

I just plug and play mate, I use instant result, no match plans etc.. If I lose then it is what it is, but that's just my approach to the game others will do it differently of course but with the top tactics, just plugging and playing and buying the right players should do the trick.
I do my own training but I'm out at the moment so can't share it
I have used this tactic for almost 2 seasons in the bundesliga with 1860 münchen. I get good results and i finished 6th in the first season. This season looks good as well. But! There is absolutely no player on my team that wants to pass to my striker. My striker have 1-3 shots per game and under 20 passes. What am i doing wrong? My striker has 11 goals in 24 games. My topscorer is my centerback, with 18 goals from corners in 31 games. Without him, i would fight for relegation. So my question is: Why does no one pass to my striker? Crosses from my fullbacks ends up to my inside forwards heads. Why are they not giving my striker with 15 jumping reach those crosses? Low crosses ends up to my CAM and he's always in front of my striker. When i see other people use this tactic, their striker is the topscorer with over 40 goals.

Sounds to me like its down to player quality. Invest in better players, concentrate on backbone attributes like acceleration, pace, balance, anticipation and concentration. If you want a creative AM, then add dribbling, passing, vision and train try killer balls. Also train your striker to beat the offside trap, make sure they have good agility and off the ball
For me the striker is easily scoring 1 goal per game, with the rest of the front 3 scoring about a goal every 2nd game and a ton of assists between then. Even the fullbacks are contributing massively and the DMs with a 25 yard strike every now and then. Honestly this tactic is incredibly efficient and fun to watch.

1. What do you do when you need to grab a goal? Try playing a little more directly, it can sometimes help but player quality is usually the answer 2. What do you do when you want to defend a lead? Tighten up, so dropping defensive line and press can sometimes help 3. What are the most important attributes to look for these players (you already highlighted the ones for DM in the comments so you can omit it) Acceleration and pace is the most important
I know this is a lot to ask🙏🏽. Thanks again for the amazing tactic Expand
