5212, does what it says on the tin. Makes Triangles.
There is a heavy focus on player rotation, and freedom of movement, there always seems to be a free man.
I only use 3 personal instructions. The AP on roam, and the wing-backs on stay wider and Cross more often. The wing backs often stretch the play and will find themselves free to run to the by-line or charge late into the box alone.
After experimenting last season, the two AFs really occupy the back line and create space for the DMs and AM to move and pass. On several occasions the AM and one of the strikers swap causing chaos in the defense.
