Hi,
Here is my tactic after the full release of the game.
Tested with Atl Bilbao (media predict 8th) and finished 2nd.
No player bought, holiday mode for one season. Lost the title after 2 home draws against weaker teams. Instead we won the Spanish Cup.
54% possession, 3rd in the league. The 4 offensive players run the show scoring most of the goals. A decent 6 goals for each central defender as part of the set pieces.
I'm sure if you play the games yourself and with all the micromanagement needed to keep the players happy, results can be even better.
