"Hey everyone, hope you're doing well,

Everyone at SI is excited to kick off the Launch Preview for FM27 this Thursday, with the free play period running from 29 October – 3 November. PC and Mac players can play FM27 in full, completely free, with no additional sign-up required. If you decide to pre-purchase FM27 on Steam or Epic Games Store, you can continue playing from 3 November, through to the full launch on 10 November.

This is a short message to help prepare you for the free play period beginning, covering some key details. Let's get into it.

The free play period opens across Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass from 6pm GMT/UK on 29 October. Please give a few minutes for the store pages to update and make the game available. Signing out and back into your platform account can also often trigger the update to occur. If there are any significant delays in the roll-out, we'll let you know across FM channels.

On Steam, you'll find the option to play on FM27's main store page. For Epic Games Store, head to the 'Demos' area to find the game. For any Microsoft platform, you'll find the 'Launch Preview' option via the FM27 store page, in the section where additional purchases would be found.

As always, please ensure you have fully updated your drivers, OS, and any other aspects of your setup before starting to play. If you encounter issues while playing, knowing these have been updated makes it much easier for our team to investigate.

Speaking of which: if you do wish to report any issues in FM27, the best place to do so is via our dedicated bug reporting area on the SI Forums here, which will be live once the free period begins. This area directly connects to our internal systems that log and kick off investigations on player reports, and our team will aim to keep you updated on progress if you report something. For wider technical support matters, you can submit a ticket to the SEGA Support team here.

Myself and the Community Team will be across all FM spaces to check for feedback and reports, but using the links above is the best way to get direct support.

The version of FM27 that's available for the free play period is very similar to what will be live for the full launch on 10 November, with the potential for tweaks and improvements. These would primarily be minor fixes for display and interface areas. Before 10 November, we'll also share more details on the game's first post-launch update.

Myself and the team hope you enjoy your first experience with FM27 from Thursday. We'll be here to support and chat as you get stuck into the game. Thanks everyone."
