can the Forum owner please remove the screen asking to turn off ad block, and also make this usable for people not using ad block?
yes, personally I did find a way to not show ads on this forum; but a lot of beginner PC users won't be able to; note that I use Firefox + uBlock Origin; in Chrome, with two of the usual ad blocker extension, I wasn't able to use the forum
it outright becomes a scam website without adblock; owner of the forum please show less shitty ads please
Get the frustration, but the ads are what keep this place running. Servers and upkeep aren’t free, and we don’t pay anything to be here. Also, the owner doesn’t pick the ads one by one. They come from the ad network automatically, so the sketchy ones aren’t really his choice. Asking him to switch to a cleaner network? Fair, I’m with you. But calling it a scam is a bit much. No ads would probably mean no forum. 🙂
