The inverted wingback is a midfielder and at the same time plays the role of a flank defender.
When attacking, he rises to the center and plays the role of a midfielder, forming a 3-3-3-1.
However, when defending, they come back down to the defense to form a 5 back.
As you can see in the picture, the average position is more like a midfielder than a wingback.
It is literally midfielder and defender.
This tactic is not a tactic that shows destructive scoring ability, but I feel that it is the most ideal and practical implementation of Cruyff's tactic.
