Thank you for the tests! The difference is not so big, so it's really hard to tell which one is better. Looking only at those results, one could say Blue 4.0 is better, which might very well be true. We will only know when FM-Arena starts testing for real. =)
Thanks for the tactic am i right in saying the only difference between Fire 0.2 and 0.3 is the higher defensive line? I've tried it at lower league level and it works brilliantly in short bursts but eventually you get overrun even when changing the mentality, probably better for teams with better defenders as the ai is probably adjusting to the large gaps in midfield

Yeah, the difference from Blue 4.0 is drop off more (0.2) and higher defensive line (0.3).
Thank you for testing, and I will make sure to add light version for resting players and a more defensive alternative after release.

I never played Touch version, but I hope someone can answer you.
@ZaZ In my Arsenal test I found leaking goals however with 4231 SUI it was more stable and won everything but couldn't win with fire. Can you please check in your test if its better..

I have a variant of Blue with one striker moved to CM (frost), and another with one striker moved to DM (shock). I have just started testing the best role for wingers, striker and DMs in these formations. For Shock, the best so far is with two Vol-At.

Until there is enough time to test, I assume it's the same.
If anyone is interested, these are the tactics I'm currently testing. Keep in mind that I'm still in the process of defining the roles for players in those formations, especially for wingers and strikers.
(P.S.: I had update two equal formations by mistake, because I was deciding the name. One of them was removed.)
I will focus on four different tactics for FM23: - Fire: 4132 Attacking, based on Blue from FM22. - Water: 442 Solid. - Wind: 4123 based on possession (called Frost during beta). - Earth: 343, for people that like three defenders.
@ZaZ Have you considered trying 4-1-2-0-3? Worked insanely well in FM22 with StephenHK Shaolin 433 V2. Also way easier with substitutions, especially in 5 sub leagues since you don't have to worry about wingers.
Edit: Not sure if that's what you meant by Wind 4123? Shock iirc was 4-2-0-3-1 which is very different, so thrown for a bit of a loop here.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to test all shapes, and he will probably test that shape already this year. I might try some different shapes later for fun, including some without wingers.

Fixed. It is based on Frost (which is based on Green), I just wrote it wrong.

I will keep four threads, one for each tactic, and put all the variations in those threads. After new patches, I might drop some option that seems clearly weaker.
Tsubasa said: @ZaZ, have you tried any other mentalities besides Positive?
Not yet. I'm focusing in out of possession, since most changes were in that area, but I will reach mentality eventually.
4 tests of ( FM22 ) ZaZ Blue 4.0
4 tests of ZaZ - Fire 0.3

Also, with fire I was losing simple home matches also and always conceding first goal against lower teams

100% Agree, Volantes are godlike
@ZaZ for fire0.3 do the training instructions and remain same as blue 4.0 from the opening post? like GK train reactions etc and rest quickness

I've run a quick test on the new ZaZ's tactics with Arsenal
ZaZ - Shock 0.3

I think this year one AF is more efficient than two AFs. Maybe @ZaZ you test one CM and one DM.
