Well done @Delicious for creating the new top tactic. Thought I'd play around with it a bit. I changed the passing back to shorter and removed "pass it shorter" from all players with it. I removed most of the instructions on the IWBs but added "shoot less often". I changed the DLP for a DM but added "hold position". It won everything with Liverpool.

Gratz for top!
Well it's nice being back on top again but, as you can see on the table, the GD is exactly the same so I think the difference between the tactics themselves are minimal
Wow, gg!
Congrats!
It works like a cheat with Barca
how do people find suitable left and right midfielders for these formations? i think really good players in these positions are very rare.
Also curious but how much does corners contribute to these tactics. I remember corner being broken in fm 20 and 21

I think you can just use any good winger/inverted winger.

As @TommyToxic suggested, just use regular wingers or inverted wingers.
what are you meant to do with your centre midfielders when there is only one position for that role?

Retrain as IWB or DW when possible, otherwise sell
sometimes such absurd results

that has more to do with team morale and quality of your players. I may also suggest adding risk less instruction back to IWBs
can anyone share player instructions for ipad user thankss

Put tackle harder on everyone possible. Cross from byline and get further forward on the DWs. Get further forward and shoot less often on the IWBs. Hold position on the DM. Dribble more on the CBs
Is crossing attribute important for IWBs? It would be easier to retrain DM/MC's with good passing but poor crossing
after new patch i struggle to win, i try other tactic like blau and i failed so bad (its good only not work on fm touch). thankyouu. btw on the picture not score who shocking me but xG
Cherknam said: Crossing is irrelevant for the IWBs, your wingers should be decent at it though.
Good to know! Quality Full backs are always hard to find in FM23 so re-training other positions will be a good option and it's easier without crossing
Is it bad if the wingers are not left footed for left side and right footed for right side?

If you use opposite footed player in winger positions, wingers/defensive wingers will act like an inverted winger with ball because they tend to use their preferred foot more often so they will try to cut inside with ball but from wider positions than a normal inverter winger/inside forward. Winger and defensive winger in general tends to stay wider.

no it doesnt really matter
This tactic is ok I guess Won Euro 24 with Scotland! Got to the CL semis with Rangers as well. Excellent work.

Thanks to both Steelwood and Delicious, I've been using your tactics for my last 3 seasons and played (lost but proud) a champions league final with an underdog team. You guys are amazing!
My only problem is with red cards, I get them a lot. Which position should I swap when I am down to 10 men? What do you recommend?

I think removing one of the 3 strikers would be an option decision in that case.
Champions League Quarter Final vs Bayern, wowzers. Yeah this is working well
Do you change the mentality of the team in different scenarios? for example, if you're losing, do you change the mentality to positive or attacking?
Do you think playing Cautious mentality in away matches will improve the away results?
