Hello, everyone! Like many of you, I love playing underdog teams. Sometimes, tactics don't work as expected with them, so I created a numbers based approach that doesn't rely so much on what your players do better or worse than the opposition, but just straight outnumbering them both in defence and offence.
I called it Icarus because it has no wings, *ba dum tss*. This 3-5-2 tactic relies heavily on pushing numbers both front and back and pressing. Because of this shape, you might be misled to think this is a defensive tactic, it is absolutely not, it scores quite a lot.
You might want to address the lack of wingers by converting them either to MEZ-At, IWB-Su or to AF-At, depending on their passing and defending capabilities.
The results are very encouraging so far, I have picked Mallorca, Lecce and Nottm Forest, all predicted 19th. All have secured European spots.
