So frankensteining different set pieces does in fact work!
So Delicious' 4 Inside 34 is the new best corner tactic, but KANE's defensive setup seems quite otherworldly.
If it's not done already I'm going to combine Delicious Attack Corners, Zim's Attack DFK(DFK seems very close and might just be placebo), Attack AideNGO's IFK, and KANE's Corner Defend and DFK Defend and Chou's IFK Defense. I don't know if Zim's already has Throw-ins but if so I'll add that too.
RNG would still be at play here. This routine led until the last test and there was a bizarre low score from Team E. The worst of all testing. The only score outside the top 6 for this routine. When I looked into it they lost 14 players to injury for more than a month through the season. In all the other measures this routine performed well. If I take out the lowest and highest single performance I think it wins.
You are welcome to use whichever you choose from the results table. There are many ways to interpret these results.
Could you by any chance test my setpieces? I already posted them somewhere in the forum, but I didn't upload them to the set-pieces section. I'm interested to see how it will compete.

Mark said: I am going to use @dzek testing database to look at a few of the recommended set pieces. I will be doing 4000 test matches with each set piece routine. The base tactic will be Katana 4231 v 1.3 which I think is close enough to the best tactic this year.
I will test all the set piece tactics in this forum if I am am able and update this OP with the results. Wish me luck.
So here goes.
The baseline: Katana v1.3 for 4000 tests.
Testing table Update:
Thoughts:
I think there are 2 ways to look at the results.
The first is overall impact on results, as you cant tell how many goals have come as a result of the play after the set piece has occurred eg counter attacks, and also the throw ins. I am unsure how to find results from throw ins. So if you prefer this one then you should look at the points difference from the baseline tactic. Zim just leads from Han106 1-21 SP Best Hits on this measure.
The second way to approach it is the overall set piece impact (SP +/-). All the tactics have done well on this front but Chou is marginally in front.
There are 4 that standout on this measure. Han106 1-21 SP Best Hits seems to be the overall winner here from Delicious 4 inside 34 who is slightly in front from CSTG KANE 4231VIFS and Han106 Zim/Chou hybrid. I think you could use any of these 4 or Zim with confidence.
On balance I think I will be using Han106 1-21 SP Best Hits. This hybrid tactic based on the testing ticks all the boxes. A good increase in points from the original tactic, and is solid against all the measures.
I would like to thank @Han106 for spending the time to put this together. I will now be using it in my game save now I can get back to it.
Update:
I have added 2 new columns to the test results, which show the percentage of set piece goals per match both for For and Against.
Schedule:
No more routines have been uploaded. So that is it for the time being.
Notes:
I removed Std Dev as I didn't think it provided anything.
Legend:

Hi mark, I just want to say that it's great that you're testing all of these, and this section has been used so much more now, thanks to you.
Sane said: hmm, why do you recommend this? After all, Zim has more Pts Dif? Expand
Honestly Zim's looks like an anomaly, because the detailed set piece statistics don't seem to account for the enormous point differential. So possibly it performed well points wise for some other reason or it's not captured in the data.
Updated results with Blue Routine are now available in the OP.
This has now topped the points per match. I still slightly prefer Han106. But that is probably because it has worked so well for me. As I have said before, there are many ways to interpret these results.

Thank you for testing, very interesting results. I'm not surprised about points per match because I've had high success with my routines on all my saves.
I can see I don't do that well on CornerA and IFKA, but then we don't know how many goals came from the play after the set-piece. I like to have some players on the edge of box and in attack, and I get some goals from counter-attacks and the second wave is well defended.
Looking at Han106 CornerA and IFKA is a little bit frightening to me because all 10 players is set to man mark. It can work well on the initial play, but what if you clear it long and give the ball back to the opposition, is the danger over?
I'd like to use the CornerA and IFKA from Han106 as inspiration, but tweak it a little bit so that maybe 6-7 players man mark, and the rest staying in attack or on the edge of the box.

I updated my routines, now they're very similiar to the ones Han106 just posted.
Difference being, in his there is 10 players man-marking on defensive corners and free-kicks. In mine there is 7, while 3 players either stay forward or on the edge of box. It should be more effective than my original anyway, but not sure how it compares to Han106 ones. That will require testing.
My goal is to have effective set-pieces, but also to get good points per match. I also changed the attacking corner to his, as that was slightly more effective in the tests.

That's a little disappointing yes, I thought they'd both do better. Han106 1-24 did a little bit better though, while my updated one did worse. Even on attacking corners I did worse, and on the update I used the same corner tactic as him.
Maybe the high line I used for IFKA in the orginal one was the one thing giving me the high points, or just very random RNG.

It is hard to know without seeing screenshots of what you are doing.
When you download the file place it in the set piece directory, should be something like this C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\set pieces
Load FM24 (these set pieces wont work on older versions of the game) and your save game file.
Go Tactics and then Set Pieces.
Click on the drop down at Routines
Select Load all routines. All your set piece routines should be in the Set Pieces folder. Check your load location is the right folder.
