Training System Bug

by pixar, Jan 30, 2023

Normally, you can add only 2 "Match Practice" workouts to the weekly training program. Most football manager players with experience and detail know that the most efficient training method is "Match Practice", as you can imagine.

Again, I guess that most of you are playing the game in the form of a Wednesday-Saturday match schedule. (me too)

If you mark Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Sunday as match day while creating a training program, add "Match Practice" to any other 2 free times and create this program on the calendar, then you can add "Match Practice" to each space by pulling this program from the calendar and editing it. Try it, it really happens.

After adding the above to the calendar and arranging it one by one, you can make such a weekly schedule. Then you can copy and paste that weekly program and spread it over the whole year.

But the top type of training will really perk the players. The method I personally use is as follows.

This is how I use listening. I play with totally different 11 in leagues and cups.

Cheers.

Put the Onur.fmf file in the documents>sports interactive>football manager 2023>schedules folder.

Then import it from the game.

When you apply the above program to any week, a program like the one in the red area below will appear. Here you can make all kinds of edits without limitations. You can then copy and paste this edit you made to every week.

Of course, it increases the risk of injury. That's why I reduce the risk of injury by doing every match practice training and regeneration training after matches.

I guess not. Just c/p

i think what i am about to say sounds fake but using the first session as match practice second as recovery and third as rest work well with low injury ( it also makes the player's additional focus improve better )

That routine you mentioned is too weak in my opinion, there is no need for recovery and rest. You can safely use Defending-Match Practice-Attacking every day.

I would second @kimpichmony's training schedule. Players have way less injuries than with Zaz or Defending-Match Practice-Attacking and still develop really fast. I went one step further by adding a rest day just before a match if the previous one was just two days before. By doing this I can get away with playing my starting 11 w/o much rotation for entire season.

Apply this to Juventus in a new save and Miretti got 16 CA increase in 1 season

Do you run this schedule with default rest settings? or do you end up doing what ZaZ does with everyone below excellent condition resting? thx

I use it as at the bottom of the first post as I adopt a rotational style of play.

Sorry guyz, but some of great tests made by the community said that this type of training is worst.

7 steps by week, and a lot of rest is the key.

It's a cool video I guess sucks it's in another language with no auto generated subtitles tho so tbh didnt get much out of it but after watching I didnt see him use as many match practices as possible could you maybe translate the findings about why using so many isnt optimal for player development

A similar video. I can recommend this too. The channel owner is a respected name in the FM community.

Here is the workout program he recommends.

Also, the tests he did on the Recovery training on the same channel caught my attention. He concluded that rest can be more productive than Recovery training.

So, based on these videos and testings, what would be the best proven training schedules?

I shared it in the previous post. However, I'm reposting it for attention.

However, if EBTS had probably done a study on a training program through this bug, maybe it would have revealed a different training scheme.

In addition, I think more investment should be made in pace and acceleration, which are the most important attributes in the game. That's why I focus on Quickness training in my personal program.

Thank you! I will give it a try.

The effect of the training programs, which I think are the most efficient from the studies of EBFM's, on the features. I framed it to draw particular attention to pace and acceleration, which are the most important attributes in the game.

Yeah I'm also an avid watcher of Max's content and like you said would be very interesting to see what schedule he would come up with if he was made aware of this
