Firstly congratulations to @Blau for the new top rated tactic. I've kept most of it the same but changed the AM to SS and put the DM on defend. I have also added take more risks and dribble more to all applicable positions.

Wow !

Ok now while it is slightly better, the difference really isn't that much so I don't think my changes really changed anything. However, nice to be on top for a bit!

We need a small tornado to see if that's the case sir, let's be patient !

I've run a quick test with Tottenham on holiday

The team won almost everything

Nice!!

This formation really works in this FM23 this year. As long as you can defend well....I used your previous version and leak quite a few goals from byline crossing in the middle by AI...

Will try this version today

played a few games, if AI can cross the ball from byline, mostly they can score. Maybe DW needs to play defensive wingers who can tackle and fast enough to return to defense.

it works like a charm with Borussia Dortmund :)

1

played a few games, I think take more risks is not a good PI for this tactic because my Mbappe always passes the ball to the opposing player when it is a nice chance to shoot

1

With good teams this is amazing. With a big underdog the PI's give the ball away all the time, so many long balls up to no-one and then easy counter's for the opposition. And throw ins probably concede more than they score

I'd just remove Take more risks PI across all positions. Dribble more is OK even for underdogs.

Poor players give the ball away often not because of the PIs or anything else, they do it because they are poor players and changing the PIs won't help and even it can make the thing worse

Removing Take More Risks across all position won't make any difference because there's "Pass Into Space" TI that automatically turns on Take More Risks PI for all positions.

I just feel sad when there is no place for creative central midfielders

I just don't think there's a correlation between Pass TI and PI. Like with Run at defense TI which don't override dribbling PIs.
Just it's pretty easy to check the difference in amount of dribbles with PI on/off when TI is turned on, and not that easy with passes.

Thanks for the advice. I chose this save as a real challenge, but understand that how bad my players are is the main problem. Just certain parts of this tactic cause huge problems. I had to redo throw ins and leave CB's back as it was giving away so many goals

I'm having the same issue, tactic is very very strong against similar sides or weaker sides but is struggling for me playing as an underdog and even at times away from home against some weaker sides it's generating high scoring draws, having more success with volts as an underdog tactic so using both tactics just now depending on strength of opposition, from the results others are having this looks to be a tremendous tactic for the big clubs 👏

I think what you could well find is that it underperforms xG hugely as an underdog simply due to quality of player, which is why it works so well at a bigger club

I don't see why not, it could well work better with a DLP

You can check here the differences between "Pass Into Space" and "Take More Risks".

How to deal with the tactic sucking all of my player's energy?

happens with literally every gegenpress tactic after patch, just have a Plan B to save energy when there's no need to run and score goals anymore
remember there's difference between freezed FMRTE test and actual game, you just need to handle this :)
plus many have noticed that popular training schedules leave your players dead too, even with load only for fully fit players

Should I just turn off pressing and stuff like that with this tactic or create another one focused on that because this wouldnt work as a "save energy" tactic?

just make a copy of a tactic you like with turned off counter-press, counters, get stuck in, lower trigger press and tempo up to half
that will leave you with around 3/4 intensity which can save some energy while not becoming really weak
in more extreme way you can go even with regroup, hold shape and time wasting, but I just don't like these options
