I think I've already found a bit of a tactical bug.
I'm playing a 3 DC formation out of possession, but in possession the central DC is set as a striker and for some reason the AI just doesn't pick him up. When he starts to advance I can see that opposition strikers will track him, but once he gets far enough forward for them to stop it's like the midfield and defence just ignore him.
He's got 8 goals in 5 games because time and time again he gets the ball on the edge of the area with no defenders anywhere near him.

The UI seems better organized, but looks much worse than before. I also had the game crashing three or four times already, and I cannot go in vacations with more than one manager. I know they changed to Unity Engine, but it seems like those two years were not enough to make a polished product.
Yeah, I have around 2,200 hours in FM 24 and have already played about 14 hours in FM 26. The UI is a mess, and years of quality-of-life improvements have been removed. I can’t confirm how many of these will be added on November 4th or maybe after release, but currently, it’s not fun. I’m more interested in transfers than tactics. So when it comes to recruitment
1. You can’t download / export player attributes to do your side analysis. 2. You can’t multi-select attributes and then set something like, “If two out of three of these attributes are above 14, show me those players.” 3. You can't individually say, “I want to pace to be at least 13 and acceleration to be at least 12.” However, it has to be both at least 13. 4. There’s a lot of transition in the UI, like an iPhone, but given they capped the refresh rate at 60Hz for beta, these look that much worse.
I’m not going to do a refund because I’m addicted to this game, but this game feels barebones.

For 2 and 3 - you can do those, but sometimes the interface glitches out and doesn't show you at first. After setting up the attribute filter you have to switch to Conditions and then back to Attributes to get the 'Match 2/3' button to show up.

Yes, we're planning to test tactics and other stuff for FM26.
BUT bear in mind that the previous FM versions were written in C++ and FM26 is written in a different language, which is called "Unity" so FM26 is more like a new game if you look at the code.
So any apps and tool that worked with the previous FM versions won't work with FM26 and at the moment there's no tools for starting our tactics testing.
We even don't know whether SI is planning to release a pre-game editor so we could create a custom league for our tactic testing.
But I can assure you that our team work hard to update the tools for FM26 and start testing things.

Initial game looks atrocious, never seen a worse UI, 9 in 10 reviews are negative, not looking good at the moment.

I really didn’t enjoy it at first because of how different it is. But once I got used to the UI, things got so much better

It's beta, yeah, but come on guys.

They accidentally released it early when they released the beta, and then quickly removed it again, so its defo coming.
