Hi @Blau , how important do you think the dominent foot is for the IW's?

Thanks

If your only goal is to defend the lead in the last 10-15 minutes you could turn on time wasting to max, lower the tempo, shorten the passing range and go for "hold shape" instead of "counter".

Here's an example of time-wasting version that I made, that you could use in the last minutes of the game to defend the lead - aside from the things I mentioned above it utilises much more defensive version of attacking corners and throw-ins (made specifically with time-wasting in mind). If you still find yourself leaking goals at the end of the games, you could go for cautious mentality, turn off counter-press and change wing-backs to full-backs to play even more defensive.

Wow thats really helpful, thanks I've just been promoted to the premier league with a very poor side so I think I will be needing this advice!
Hi @Egraam I really like this tactic, what do you do away against tough opposition or when your a couple of goals up to tighten it up at the back? is lowering mentality enoough?

When you play with the strongest team in the league and you win every match 10 - 0 then every positions in the tactic gets very high ratings from 10.00 to 8.00.

When you play with the weakest team in the league and you draw and lose a lot then every positions in the tactic gets low rating from 6.00 to 5.00

Thanks thats helpful to know/understand

I would be happy with 6.75, but I'm not getting those....
Poacher said: I've been noticing IWBs, DM and MC always get the lowest rating among the other positions in this tactic and I don't think you can do anything about that, I think it's just the way the tactic works

Fair enough, it does get great results regardless I suppose. Just annoys the OCD in me!
Hi all, has anyone found a way to achieve good match ratings for the IWB's? Even when winning these positions seem to struggle to perform? I've tried different player types like attacking fullbacks, converted midfielders, and no nonsense CB style players, all seem to struggle.
