Hey Zaz, I'm kinda in a similar journey having just been promoted to the VNL with Chesham. Just wondered how close to the new season you usually leave it to confirm your new squad and signings. Most of my players from last seasons contracts are up in a week and dont want to run the risk of losing anybody decent enough to stay in the league above? 😬
I've noticed particularly after the latest update a lot of 65% possession and 48 shots to their 1 coming away with losses and draws. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this or changes shouts during a match where this is happening? Or is it down to the good old getting FM'd randomness?
It depends on how much time you want to wait. It can take over a whole season for a player to become accomplished in a position (it's influenced by a hidden attribute, training and matches played). I don't recommend using any player bellow accomplished if you want to play at top performance.
If you have two or three very good players for the same position and one position without any capable players, then go for it and retrain, but I would just keep the two players for the same position (main and reserve) and hire someone else for the position I'm lacking. Expand
Cool just get a load of slow donkey like CB's in non league and wondered if I'd be better off dropping one of my CM's in there. I'll just hunt for the best accomplished CB I can get. Cheers mate.
Hi Zaz just wondering if you would recommend training a player in a new position if they have great attribute stats for it or stick with an accomplished player in that position but with much worse stats?
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your time and hard work I'm creating these tactics and the detail you put in to them. I'm currently doing a pentagon challenge and trying to end TNS dominance of the Welsh league with Cefn Druids. Being a semi-pro team would you make any changes to their training? Or just go with your schedules on they days they do train? 3.2 has made me very competitive just wanting to see if I can get anymore out of my mediocre squad and shoe-string budget!!
