Is it okay if I change two of the Defensive Midfielder roles to Segundo Volante? With its default role, both my DM tend to shoot on sight and often arrives late to the opposition area (it's not on their PPM), it's just a waste to make them DM instead of Segundo Volante to say the least if I'm being honest, or will it ruin the whole tactic?
With the right players, positions and preferred foot (on flank sides), after using this unorthodox tactic for 5 seasons with Newcastle United (still going hard af against AI), here's what I can say about it: - BPDR will score more than 15 goals on header through corner kick - Look for a tireless and consistent DM like GuimarĂ£es, de Jong, Kante, or Casemiro, and they'll work his ass to press in the center (it's a big no to sign players like Busquets in this position, sure he's technical, but he's also slow af) - DWR (right footed) will be the one who assists the most - both PF will equally score and assist around 20 goals - AF... In my case, Isaak scored more than 40 goals in Premier League each seasons, now imagine if you have a clinical striker like Haaland
