Dear @harvestgreen22 thank You very much for Your great contribution to this community and for better understandig of training. So, my question is which plan is best to use for U18 squad, is it plan 1 or plan 2? and which plan is best for U21 squad? Thank You very much, best regards!
Yarema said: Just put the most impactful sessions as far after the match as you can, at least 2 days away, maybe 1 if you can super rest. And then fill the other slots with recovery. It can vary a bit whether you are home or away for either of the two matches. The day after the match should always be either full rest if home or recovery if you are travelling.
For example you have matches on tuesday and saturday, and you value quickness session the most in your schedule, then put it on friday - that way you have 2 days of rest before and your whole team should be able to participate. And you can put for example attacking on thursday, some of the team might be too tired to participate (and that's OK) but majority should be fine. Expand
Dear @Yarema thank You very much for explaination. So it is very important to have rest and recovery as many as possible in 2 match week + at least one training(quickness/attacking/match p.)?
keithb said: @Rohde9 this is what you want to use and make sure your games are scheduled for wednesday and Saturday only. This is very important.
Which team are you managing? Have you set up the rest and individual training correctly? I have used this training and it is by far the best I've ever used. I have so many players hitting 20 for pace or acceleration. Now they were already fast when I bought them and young, say 14-15 for those attributes, but how quickly they get to 19-20 is amazing.
I believe this training to me the most game-breaking thing out there tbh. Because we all know how powerful speed is. The difference in my teams is phenomenal. Expand
Dear @keithb please can you explain what the trainig should look like for matches on tuesday and saturday(and other combinations) or give example? You mentiond that we need to be careful when we have matches on different days in week. So now I am little bit confused about training schedules on different days. I am using [Quickness]+[Match Practice]+[Attacking]+[Recovery]x7+[Double Intensity]+[Additional Focus Quickness]. Hope you understand what I am trying to understand
@Middleweight165@freshandy@Yarema thank you very much for better understanding this superrest Conclusion: - for home matches it is obvious that we can arrange superrest because we dont travel. - for away matches it is up to us how we will arrange superrest. If we have enough days before next match we can do it after travel, but if we dont have enough days than it is up to us how we will arrange
freshandy said: On those days the first 'unit' of the day is travel (since it's an away game), as you can see. As ZaZ has stated on the first page of this thread, travel prevents the super rest effect (3 x rest) so that he decides to train on that day. I for myself try to catch up on the super rest the day after the travel.
And yes, from my point of view you will always have to have an eye on the training since usually match schedules change in the course of a season and you will have to react to that. In addition your league (wherever you are managing) might play on different days of the week so that it might make sense to set up different training plans (for different match days) on the basis of ZaZ example. Once you have saved them it is just a short click to use them for the coming training week when the according news item appears on sundays. Expand
Thank You @freshandy for the explanation. So, if we look on Zaz example, after AFC match there is travel and we can not use superrest but why he didn't use superrest before Brighton match and after Aston Villa match on sunday 31.12.?
ZaZ said: It is hard to talk about best training schedule because training has multiple objectives. Usually, players aim to increase attributes, keep players fit, and avoid injuries, but there might be other goals. Below are pictures of what training schedules I use to maximize those three objectives (it shows for both one and two matches a week). Outdated
I have updated the routine to make it less prone to injuries, while keeping the growth of attributes. Below is an example of how to adjust it to busy weeks. Keep in mind that Travel does not count as Rest, so it blocks super rest.
Explanation: - Two Match Practice sessions per week because they are the most efficient. - Full day of rest after matches, paired with "No pitch or gym work" for super rest (it has increased effect). Keep in mind that super rest only works with a complete day of Rest sessions, and sending the players to rest at home. - As many Physical sessions as possible, because Pace and Acceleration are the most effective attributes. - Match Tactics, Attacking, and Defending sessions are very efficient, and they are used to complete the days without reaching red intensity. - I also set additional focus of all players to Quickness and GK Reflexes.
Current Test
I hope that helps anyone, and let me know what you think if you start using this schedule. Expand
Dear @ZaZ thank You for your huge effort to make the best use of training to improve players. While I am reading all this stuff about training, only thing I know after all is I know nothing Please can You explain me why you dont have 3xrest after match with AFC and Aston Villa while after other match you have? And your Updated training, it is not plugANDplay for training, we must adjust it ourselfs for 2 or 3 matches per week? thank You very much!
@infxamus great tactic, congrats!! What is your best eleven players for this tactic? And best eleven wonderkinds? And what do you think about F.Wirtz on PF position? Thank You very much
So for me, I look for no minimum than 14 in the below attributes, however I would drop the attribute value down by 1 depending on the team you are. You should be able to get 14 in the attributes though as I don't look for a lot. Acceleration and Pace to be included in all positions as well as the attributes listed below.
FB/DM - Stamina, Work Rate BPD - Jumping Reach, Strength and Positioning IF - Agility, Dribbling AM - Agility, Dribbling, Passing, Vision (I look for these as I tend to train try killer balls often) AF - Agility, Dribbling, First Touch, Finishing, Off the ball
Hope this helps Expand
Thank you very much, I will go with your recommendations!
Great tactic, well done @CBP87 Is there any chance to tell me which attributes are important for each position? And what is the minimun value for attribute. Thank you very much!
Great tactic, i had huge success with top and underdog teams. You wrote about most important attributes for strikers, wingers and c.mid. What about defenders, cd, dr/dl and dm? what are they most important attributes and do you add additional focus for them. Thanks!
