A quick Holiday test with the worst team i the danish superliga went quite well. Halfway through the season Viborg was on the top og the table, but as the league broke up to champion group and relegation group, they had a rough time.
A fifth place is more than acceptable
I´m currently doing a more in depth test with another danish team seeded just above relegation spots. In this test I occasionally use a Libero in the middle (when very dominant) and testing a version where the false nine is pulled back to AMC area and one striker on support role.
A work in progress but here is a early version of the tactic that I´m currently using.
Corner taker should be your best taker between central midfielders and wingbacks. It´s correct that only one side of the corners is to the near post. Hopefully it will stop the AI from knowing the corner rutine.
Currently doing a quick holiday save with a danish team called Viborg. They are predicted to end up at the buttom of the table in the the best danish league and halfway through they are number 1. It seems that I´m at least doing something right
With all the strikerless tactics roaming around, I thougt maybe I should go in the opposite direction and make a 3 striker tactic and here are my 3rd version of the tactic.
The tactical style is vertical Tiki-taka with high intense pressing and tackling. We are putting the pedal to the metal here.
The assistant manager takes care of the OI, if (s)he has a decent stat in tactical knowledge. Wingbacks take throw ins on their playing side. Corners should be your best of 3 positions (MCL, WBL and WBR).
The tactic isn´t a world beater but any team I have played with, you will at least end up a litte bit better than the media prediction and with the right type og players, you will be hard to beat by any team.
Changed the central striker to a false nine, MCL to mezzala and the libero back to support role.
Only test have been a save with Palermo - midtable in the first season back in seria A (promoted first season in seria C and spend 2 seasons in seria B)
Version 2 of the tactic got worse rating testing wise, so I guess it's back to the drawing board. Currently working on a more defensive stable version of it.
Grimlock said: Why not to try the tactic with a mid table team to see its overachieving capability? Liverpool and Juventus are able to win the league even with a poor tactic... Expand
I will first test to see if the changes work as intended. Next test is West Ham and after that i´m trying it out with a team that is predicted to get relegated :-)
The tatic wasn´t performing as hoped in the bigger leagues, so i´m currently working on af solution for that. At the moment it seems that a few changes has made wonders. First test with Juventus defintely went well, now I´m waiting on a test with Liverpool
First of all, I have never posted a tactic in FM or CM (yes I´m that old) but here goes.

If you have wingbacks with a good long throws and corners put them as your "set piece specialist" on their playing side (corners and throw ins). Credits go to TFF routines from fm 2020. If your CML is a great corner taker, you can use him as well.
Holiday test FC Nordsjælland media prediction 5th.
Looking forward to get some feedback. I will test in some bigger leagues tomorrow and report back :-)
I testet the tactic with a few other teams, but forgot to take SS. Here are the results
FC København (FCK) media 2 - won the league and the cup FC Midtjylland (FCM) media 1 - 2nd place SønderjyskE media 9 - 2nd place
Not to bad with a third place for Udinese
Used the tactic 95% of the matches
Media prediction was 9 out of 12.

It´s a work in progress and haven´t started on the player instuctions yet. I will wait for the official release to continue the progress.
It would be great if you will share your results
Any reason you used V2 and not v3 ?
I have made a new version of the tactic for FM22.
The new version are same formation but based on having the ball a lot more and uses the new shiny Wide centerbacks - but no Libero unfortunately.
If any interest I can upload it :-)
Fulham media prediction 20
Please, add some result with the tactic.
Thank you.
I will - was in doubt if it was required - because I couldnt get it testet with the original thread I created.
