its hard to see the difference between the top tactics, is this simply down to individual instructions on the players?
wait what :D back on top ! nice job

i like that idea, like to se those headed goals

Hi ZaZ

Can you tell a little about the choice of choosing CHM contra AM role in midfield?
I mean are there any difference in choosing one role over the other?
maybe some fits some players better?

i ask because i might try a combination between CHM and AM
ZaZ said: Gratz! You can try to change mentality to Very Attacking against weak teams, and see how it goes.

Thanks i will try testing this..

in the mean time i tried to create a version of your tactic that remained the same positions in possesion, but out off posession it is a 4-2-4 (moving one defender up on DM and one DM up to AM) and defensive line to high and also changing the mentality to positive instead of attacking, since i found it very hard to keep possesion when mentality was attacking, i think this has chained in FM26, tried changing team instructions to keep possession in all the traits that allow this, but possesion stat didnt increase until i changed mentality to positive
@ZaZ

Now ive tried this for 2 1/2 season with the danish club Odense Boldklub (newly promoted to superliga when i took over)

dominated first season and already thought this tactic was amazing!

next season i was qualified for champions league (through knock off matches to proceed to the league round of CL)

AND I WAS BAFFLED! look at my screenshot i absolutely dominated the league phase, and are in the semi final against barcelone already won the first match 2-1 at home.

This tactic is amazing...

my only wishes in the future is to tweak this against opponnents that i am much stronger than, because i often play 0-0 or win with a small margin against those team, because they often are defensive, but they still have alot of possesion because of the meta of this tactic (low blok)

Do you have any advise on how to tweak this to control game better, against weaker teams, i think about maybe more possesion wise or change formation to press higer against those?

thank you very much

Opponent Instructions: None, and only recommend people to do so if they know what they are doing.

Hi Zaz

Could you please elaborate this? do you have any post or forum threads, where you discuss this because i see alot of people saying this dosnt have any effects, but i would like to know if you had a chance to test or migth have some do's and donts regarding opponent instructions, since you recommend people only to do so if they know what they are doing :) i would like to know how to do it ;)

great work with this tactic, absolutely destroyed the danish league with this tactic with a newly promoted team :D
ZaZ said: There isn't much to it. Just remove all training sessions after every match, possibly using some premade training schedule, then set players to "no pitch or gym training) if they are low on energy (which would be true for all players participating in matches).

I will add my training schedule here if you are interested, but I didn't test to know how it compares to other schedules (keep in mind my schedule assumes double intensity when full condition).

Awesome job ZAZ, i will fit this to my schedule also, ive been using quickness instead of physical, but like your point.

anyone figured out how to add training schedule easily? or do you have to manually select every week :O in fm24 you could copy and paste , but havent figured this out in fm26??
GeorgeFloydOverdosed said: I was mistaken about HarvestGreen not including the breakdown of all attributes. I had actually seen it before but forgotten. However, it doesn't breakdown by each position. It would be good if this could be provided.

Anyway, I've been having a crack at it, and the long and short of it is that quickness + match practice + 2xAttack is still king.

I think I found one combo that may edge it out slightly:

Quickness + Match Practice + Aerial Defence + Play From The Back + Handling

After 4 years:

GK +1 dec (compared to Quickness + Match Practice + 2xAttack)
DL/DR +1 pac, -2 flair, +1 work
DC +1 acc, -1 dec, -1 con, -1 work
DM +1 dec, +1 work
AML/AMR +1 pac, +1 dec, -1 tech
ST -2 acc, +1 pac, -1 dec, -2 tech, -1 flair, -2 finish, -2 drib

7 injuries (1 major, 1 moderate) vs 13 (2 major, 5 moderate) for Quickness + Match Practice + 2xAttack.

Hard to say if it's better, the results are so close it could be just statistical noise, but overall it is +2 speed as well as 3 less of CA wasting attributes (basically another +3 speed). That's +0.45 speed per position after 4 years.

It seems at least some sessions, such as match practice and match tactics, changed for FM24.

was this in FM26 or ?
Anyone tried to make this tactic more possesion based, i mean its working great but i would like some version for teams that are cautios or defensive
hi

ive been using the 3421 until you made this and gave it a go, my first match was the second leg of the cup tournament with a underdog/midtier team called OB in the danish league, i won the second leg 8-1 after losing the first one 3-0, dont know if any RNG was in place, but damn the tactic is mental :O
harvestgreen22 said: ——lso in some saves you would properly also have a mixed team with old and young players, would i still be able to use the plan A and plan B steps in order to first achieve the meta attributes and the afterwards

Yes you can.
You can combine freely,

For example

Add (Pa+Ac+Ju)↑ first servel season , Then increase the total CA rapidly
Or start by rapidly increasing total CA first, Then select Add (Pa+Ac+Ju)↑

Because: When your CA is low, far from the maximum PA, for example, your player is 60CA, but he has 160 PA
At this point, his acquired attributes will be much larger.

When your CA is high, close to the maximum PA, let's say your player is 140CA, but he has 160 PA
At this point, his attributes will be much smaller.

So your training strategy, when the difference between CA and the maximum PA is large, will work faster
What strategy do you adopt, depending on your needs, for example, you need someone to quickly form a "fighting force" in the team, that faster to improve the CA

There's no "right answer," just go with what you like

So which schedule would you recommend, if i just want boost the physical attributes the first season and then the most (overall) in second season and onwards.

would it be possible only to take a specific group of players and have them boost physicals? (i am not that experienced in training, never used it really) or would it be better to put regens/group of players you will evolve and put them on u21/u23 and have the train on your schedules?
Hi harvestgreen22

Just want to appreciate your work/research.

Can you help me clarify something:

by using your recommended training schedules, will my players loose any team related progression like cohesion, tactic knowledge and so?

also in some saves you would properly also have a mixed team with old and young players, would i still be able to use the plan A and plan B steps in order to first achieve the meta attributes and the afterwards (when happy with meta results) then use plan B to evole mental and other less important attributes?

maybe i missed in this thread, but could you give me example on the two training schedule for plan a (season 1) where evolving meta and then training schedule for plan B (evolving less important attributes?

and what would be the loss in using the above training schedule? the only down side is maxing CA on some players before plan B can be used right?

best regards and keep up the good work
I tried out both this and the original 4-2-4 deformation, and is actually insane how effective it is :D after using these tactics, i am undefeated with an underdog team in my league (danish League) and winning with a margin of 5+ in several matches, i even won 7-2 against the defending champions, and i am in the first season without any transfers xD.
I am trying to fit the tactic in order to keep a clean shit and make it better to close down games. I personally like to have strong defense when leading, to win 5-0 instead of 7-2 :D and 2-0 instead 4-2.

BIG UP's on this tactic, kind of meta i would say :D properly gonna get nerfed in a update or so (dont hope so), because it really produce some really great goals to watch in the 3D match engine.
Must say this tactic is doing awesome magic, i used this on a danish team that is in the lower end of the table, and i must say it is doing miracles even though i havent got the right players for the right positions like the inverted fullback and Defensive Winger.

I saw it was beeing used with Everton and how it really showed that i could be used with lower teams.
For sure it will also work with good teams i have no doubts.

i love how it is using 3 defenders when in positioning and 4 when defending.  I just love using 3 at the back, so this is the most successfull tactic i have found that provides with all the good things.

Pros:
- high possesion (even against better opponents)
- High pressure, hard for oponnents to play around
- Really nice goals ( i mean from possesion and not from throw ins and corners)
- Fast pace (seems like lower tempo doenst work in FM24 )

Cons:
- I need to do some tweaking when keeping a lead otherwise teams will overload in the end of the match because of stamina (properly easy fix with better team)

so the only thing i have to worry about is keeping a lead when leading by 2 or 3 goals, in order to close the match down. I havent figured this out yet :)

REALLY NICE TACTIC
