I am also interested, appreciate your hard work!
Incredible work! 🔥🔥
I notice the corner routines are different from left side to right side, is this intended?
Good job! New top tactic!!
If anyone would like to see how it perfoms with a top team, here's a season with Liverpool.

105pts in the league - 142 goals and 24 conceded. FA cup winner, Carabao Cup winner, UCL runner up.

A small tweak to the 424 Alhamdulillah II 0.8 tactic. As we dicovered with this test, the tactic performs better with the IFs sitting wider and the WBs sitting narrower. I played around with the Volante's PIs and added the instruction to 'move into channels' to create more of an overload on the wings and draw players out of position to exploit.

As you can see from the matches below, this gets some insane results, even for an underdog like Nottingham Forest. 6.66xG against Arsenal with 43 shots attempted against is insane! Also, a 10-0 smashing of West Ham were a couple of the highlights that I managed to screenshot.

Other results include 4-0 at home to Tottenham and 3-1 away, 4-1 at home vs Man City, 8-2 away at Everton and 2-0 away at Chelsea.

This season was played on holiday mode.

Enjoy!

Here's a list of top 4231 tactics - Top 4231 Tactics

Oh yeah, I clicked on the wrong one haha! Same creator though so still good job!
Top 4231 in testing so far, people are going to love this! Good job!
Mindblowing how minimalistic the team instructions and PIs are! The only PIs are tackle harder + the compulsory instructions locked by role and mentality. Really shows the importance of roles and shape in this ME! Good job!
Here's a tactic I've been tweaking for quite a while now, base tactic was taken from Corsair and I dropped the two IFs down the pitch and made them IWs. I've been tweaking around with different PIs from all the other positions and found a few tweaks that make it more solid.

Tests were done in holiday mode with no OIs.

Tactic:

Tested with Liverpool:

Tested with Nottingham Forest:

This tactic is a tweak of FM-Arena's current top performing tactic, Corsair IF.

The main tweak to this was the tell the IFs to sit narrower, allowing them to get more involved in the possession play and trigger more of a press when out of possession.

Other tweaks involve telling all players to get stuck in and win back possession more urgently, removed take more risks PI off all players possible and removed the dribble more instruction for most players.

Goals are scored predominantly by the two AFs as you would expect, but the two IFs get heavily involved in the scoring and assists also.

Tested with Tottenham and Nottingham Forest:

From what I remember, they changed the testing league structure at some point since those tests, so I don't think scores will ever get as high as that again
First of all, I'd like to say that this tactic is not my work. This was made by @Brommers92 for last year's FM. I used his tactic a lot last year and has some amazing results with it, playing champagne football in the process. Seems to be a big overachieving tactic, permorming well with underdogs.

I spent countless hours testing this tactic on this year's ME and honestly, I couldn't find a way to improve it! I tested loads of variations of the team instructions, OIs, Mentality ect. I didn't get as far as testing individual player roles/instructions so there's a possibility of improving the tactic through there, which I'll give a go!

Holiday tested with Tottenham, Leeds and Nottingham Forest. Achieveing 3rd, 6th and 5th respectively.
I set-up my games using @ZaZ instructions in the introduction of the Fire Tactic Ie. auto resting players with less than perfect condition etc.

Corner takers are set as inswingers, so a right footer on the left corners and vice versa, typically I use the full backs for this. No OIs are used.

Bear in mind that these are holiday tests, so it's likely you'll get better results by managing the team yourself and keeping morale and fitness high by praising players, using in-game shouts, reducing the intensity when winning comfortably, rotating players, early subs for tired players etc.

This tactic might not give the best results in the testing league but it's certainly fun to use, if you adapt your team to this tactic it can become unstoppable. Enjoy!
Hisoka said: What happen to testing. Has it stopped. Haven’t seen any tactics testes for a while.

They're currently extensively testing each individual instuction to understand which are worth using in this ME, to allow us to create even better tactics 👌
I'm finding that morale, fatigue, injuries etc are putting too much RNG on my tests. Does anyone know how to freeze these attributes? Thanks!

I hope SI will fix it soon

Ah cheers for that, at least it's not something I'm doing wrong then!

ZaZ said: You can just click ok and the game starts. It only appears during load.

I have tried that but the game completely crashes about 3 weeks into the sim
ZaZ said: Open the editor, select all competitions not from the desired nation, then delete them.

I did attempt that but I kept getting this error when trying to start the game, I could close it and play but it'd only run for a few weeks then crash.

The editor seems to be happy with the changes at the time, passing the verification/tests.

But that is reassuring that deleting all the competitions can be done, when the sim ran for a few weeks before crashing, it was blazing fast!

Any idea how to correct the error?

Cheers!
Milakus said: If the tweaks you made are significant enough then just upload it here and I'm sure it'll get tested but don't forget to attach screenshot with results

I did think that but I'm reluctant to spam the webiste with different tweaks. I'm not 100% sure on the changes yet, I could've just got really lucky with the RNG for those tests!
Has anyone got any advice on how to create a good testing league? I've given it a go but the world cup in Dec 2022 interrupts my schedule and fatigue, injuries, morale etc. are all big influencing factors which I'm not sure how to eliminate. I've made some tweaks to this tactic and it seems to be more effective but can't say for sure without running a few tests! Thanks!
First time attempting my own tacting this year, have always just downloaded the best tactics tested on here and went with them!

My aim was to create something with a very high tempo, high pressing and high possession.

My first few seasons using this were very promising with a good balance between attack and defense. There's still a long way to go with tweaks to get this working better but it's currently very fun to use and has some great gameplay!

Tested with Tottenham and Leeds in the same season, holiday test.
