Noted and thanks 👍 I Just assumed if I had someone who was a better fit as a CM rather than a DM run a 4114 rather than a 424 potentially (and get the CM in play)?

Definitely like the look of this one and think it probably works best with my squad at the minute where my first choice DM is injured for at least another couple of months. Running a mid feels like it would be a nice alternative (and I have some people who can play mid better than dm to make the 424 work).

Cheers for that and it makes sense. Have seen one of your 4114 formations that I think I like (and it seems a better fit for my players at the minute, rather than trying to force a 424 or 4132 (where I don't have 2 x ideal DMs or an AM(C) with an attacking role).

Thank you. I kind of figured it might be Elite from who you tested it with. I didn't know if the Mad 25 stood for anything? (I guessed the 111 was points). I think this is 100% super workable though as it's like the hybrid between a 424 and 4213. I can see how it works best witb elite teams though due to being a bit more exposed at the back.

This looks super workable if you don't have a pair of DMs to run the 424 but have an AM(C) and a DM? I'm assuming it performs a little worse (sorry am new here so haven't figured out the relative strengths of things or the names of tactics + numbers) as you score more going forward but also conceded more due to less players behind the half way line?
