Thank you for the info, i have already uploaded the league table with the 3 teams i've used to test it, I've now also uploaded the full liverpool fixtures and results and also the full squad. Hopefully i can get this tactic tested now. thanks again for the heads up
For anyone that used my previous 2 tactics, you'll know what you are getting here, Fast paced counters with lots of clear cut chances and bundles of 1v1s. you will NOT get high possesion, and will concede goals, but as you can see from the screen shots, you will outscore most teams. After doing many tests on the new version with Crystal Palace and winning the prem, Fa cup and Europa league, I decided i had mastered the tactic and was happy to share the final product! My previous V2 tactic got over 5500 downloads across a few forums and was raved about on TFF's Hot Tub.
Hope you enjoy guys, any questions fire away and i'll do my best to answer asap.
IF YOU ENJOYED MY PREVIOUS TACTIC, THIS 1 WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS TACTIC.... - Your front 3 must have pace, I'd say 15+ it's so important, these 3 will be bombing forward at every chance possible and breaking the offside trap - Your DM needs to be solid, good tackling, passing and vision - Your playmaking wing backs need good vision as these are normally the 2 guys which start most attacks when hitting teams on deadly counter attacks.
Below are some screen shots of a 3 team save which i done today, loaded up a fresh save, managed Liverpool, West Ham and Burnley to give everyone an idea of what their getting here with teams with different expectations. Liverpool expected to challenge for title West Ham expected mid table Burnley expected to avoid relegation Take a look at the league table after 1st full season complete and all done on holiday mode, no signings, no training, nothing! let my assistant deal with everying and went on holiday for a full seaon.
BEFORE YOU CLICK DOWNLOAD, AND I HOPE YOU HAVE READ THIS FAR, THIS TACTIC FOR ME IS THE BEST IN TERMS OF STYLE OF PLAY AND ENJOYMENT TO WATCH THE MATCH HIGHLIGHTS. GIVE IT A TEST AND YOU'LL SEE.
After many DM's asking for a V2, I finally decided it was time.... Few adjustments to tactic, player roles, team instructions and player instructions, I give to you.... Fast Paced Counter V2 My original tactic which is still working very well (Fast Paced Counter), I believed I could improve even more, So after many tests and tweaks, I won the league and champs league with no signings or edits. Started a fresh save, and went straight on holiday for a full season. Something i noticed was the 3 loses in the league all had key players missing due to injury so i do believe with correct training and control, you can dominate your league with ease. Same as my Original tactic, you need certain players in certain roles.
Front 3 - acceleration and finishing Inside wingers - good vision and pace Deep lying playmaker - vision and passing
Enjoy guys! And don't forget to let me know how you get on with it .
UPDATE - Started a fresh save with Nott Forest, instructed DOF to control all transfers, and assistant to control the rest. went on holiday for 1 full season and YES, they won the premier league. DOF signings = Restes GK Zabarnyi CB (loan) Vitor Roque AM
I'm not sure those results are trustworthy. No attempt to isolate variables... I see you at least tried a few teams with decent results!
Your tactic worked. Hard to say if it was really your tactic or specific instructions or the teams that made the difference though... No? Expand
I become obsessed in FM23 with a tactic called REAPER, it was 5 up front with 3 shadow strikers and 2 wingers. The whole idea was for the team to sit deep, and constantly hitting sides on the fast counter attack. so this year i tried to recreate it as we have in possesion and out of possesion options now. I tweaked it 3/4 times until i come up with this, and it just works. Not sure how or why, but it does exactly as i wanted during the FM24 days. fast counter attacking football which causes lots of 1v1s and seems to stay strong at the back while defending. Tried and tested with Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Napoli, Wrexham and now im testing with Forest and every single save is working amazingly. It will produce low possesion but i've never been fussed with that, as long as the highlights are good to watch then i'm happy. that's what this tactic was all about. good 1v1 goals and exciting highlights which it's producing over and over again.
As for the instructions, I honestly don't know, i simply set the tactic, set the team instructions, made a few adjustments to player instructions and it just worked.

Is it the same as the tactics you uploaded before? Or Is it just the file name that is different?
Is the pass type supposed to be 'direct'?
I’m asking because in the post you uploaded on the fmscout site, the screenshot shows the pass type as 'short'. Expand
Passing Directness is MORE DIRECT. there has been a few other people using my tactic and adjusting it slightly. the actual tactic is attached here if you want to use it.

Their simular in terms of setup, but Doru made a few slight changes to his version. You will notice the changes in your build up play, as i believe he uses short passing, where i prefered the fast counter attacks which means the ball is pushed forward alot quicker into the front 3 which get constant 1v1s as you can see from the Salah/Wirtz/Isak goals
I've updated my original post as i'd like to get this tactic added to the TACTIC TESTING LOG, just to see how well it can do. I've also added a few more images as proof of how powerful this tactic is. Tried with Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Napoli, Rangers, Wrexham and Leeds. won the league with all teams except Leeds where i finished 4th first season, In the wrexham save, i got promoted and then promoted again and then finished 3rd in my first season in the prem.
