Slight adjustment of the 'Rook 3223 v2': the central centre back now moves up to be a sole DLP in possession, while the two wider centre backs remain in position and become BPDs in possession. The results are significantly better, and defensively this tactic is much more consistent.
A very narrow, centrally focused high press tactic which works well with underdogs, as evidenced by the simulation result with Sunderland, wherein I made no transfers but still finished 3rd in the league and won the FA cup. Requires versatile players, and of course physical ones too. Would be interested to know how it performs for any of you!
- More direct passing
- Work ball into box
- Play through press
I changed the file for this one instead of doing an entirely new upload haha, hopefully people will read the comments and see your input!
I've just done some testing and yes it seems noticeably better. Good suggestion.
