In my other thread you said you agreed with the comment that my name isn't appropriate for a FM forum. I chose it for an FM forum because my experience with SI staff has been that if you point out inconvenient truths about the game mechanics, you get hounded as ruining the game for people and banned for being 'insulting' or 'trolling'. Whereas here seems to be a forum where you can say such truths about the game openly. This is an pseudonymous forum, which lessens the need for decorum than in everyday human interaction, but I recognize that there's still a fellow egotist on the other side of the screen. Expand

There is no logic, this is a game, not real football. The fantasy has to live in your head. In game, it's just an engine with 0's and 1's being combined multiple times. You will win by breaking this engine, not by playing logical football.
Signed up to give my feedback for this tactics. Playing as West Ham. What happens is, against the Big Six, this tactics felt like cheating: I was basically winning every game against those teams when I would usually fight for a few points in the whole twelve matches. On the other hand, it simply doesn't work against the other teams. And what it never does is the "goals galore" thing. In my campaign it's working wonders as a defensive tactic to be used versus super teams.
