OOP: Everybody - Tackle harder CHM (left striker) - Trigger press more often AND Tackle harder
IP LW: Stay Wider - Make more runs - Cross from byline LF: Make more runs - Hold up ball YES RF: Move into channels RW: Sit narrower - Cut inside with ball - Make more runs - Cross from byline AM: Move into channels - Make more runs - Shoot less DM: Shoot less LFB: Nothing CB (both): Nothing RFB: Sit narrower - Make fewer runs GK: Nothing
"L" = Lenient v0.4L update: The left DLF now doesn't have "get into channels" because it was causing an overlap with the AM having the same instruction.
"i" stands for "indegno" because playing strikerless in this patch is unworthy.
I just made this to compare how broken is strikerless with basically the same player instructions.
You might notice that this is also the first T3-ism marked with v0.4. The reason is that thanks to having to move the strikers back I identified a potential flaw in the AM-ST duality on the center left that I will fix in the standard v0.4 tomorrow.
Finally, thanks to FM26, I can fully recreate my dream tactic:
Out of possession: A structured 4-4-2. Nothing new here, just the usual aggressive tackling meta. In transition: A dynamic 3-2-3-2. The left full-back acts as a defensive midfielder, allowing the actual DM to push up into the attacking midfield area. In the final third: An offensive 3-2-5. On the left side, the DLF, AM, and PWB form an unpredictable triangle.
Of course, this can be mirrored if your right-back is better suited to the PWB role while your left-back is more defensive.
I know strikerless formations are the meta right now, so this might not interest everyone. However, I achieved incredible results with a team that was above average but definitely not the best in the league.
This is just the beginning for me, and I look forward to your feedback to help me tweak it for even better results.

It means I kinda denaturalised my initial approach to follow some more "meta" instructions while still not sacrificing the core formation.
The results are decent but I suspect the team form was not good enough as they alternated awesome and awful runs of matches.
I am not applying the same tweak on the left winger too because by leaving it wider I can create a channel for the AM to run into.
